Please only answer this question if you're pro-life and would like to see abortion banned. I'm really just curious about your expectations for how a post Roe vs Wade landscape will pan out. What is the punishment going to be if you're caught?
Check all that apply.

It's murder so...Life in prison for the person that performs it.
Life in prison for the woman.
No more than 5 years in prison for the performer.
No more than 5 years in prison for the woman.
No less than 5 years in prison for the performer
No less than 5 years in prison for the woman
Just a fine for the performer.
Just a fine for the woman.
I just want Abortion Clinics closed. Nothing more.

Whatever the normal penalty for premeditated murder is in a given jurisdiction.

All true.

My daughter took umbrage with the "no regrets" mindset. She believes if you have had no regrets in life you haven't lived your life. To the point she had the tattoo "Some regrets" added to her others.

That's sounds pretty insightful.

If you decide it is killing a human being then the law demands it be prosecuted as premeditated murder. Since pro-lifers rarely if ever support putting women in jail for life or executing them for murder, it is apparent that they have a problem with logic. Either the baby is a human being with full rights or it is a human being with limited rights or it is not a human being at all. If the pro-life crowd ever gets Roe repealed, expect this little legal problem to dominate state politics forever.

Pomeroy tubal ligation, Electrocoagulation, clip, and band.

Thank you. I found no google references to electrocoagulation for reproductive purposes.

The Pomeroy method and clip & band have the same or higher rates of accidental pregnancy as non-surgical methods of birth control.

So I see no advantages to those. IUDs, and some under the skin methods have higher rates of protection.

I know. I often post this:

What do you think making abortion illegal means? If you make a law(s), dont you have to enforce them? In a manner that is Constitutional?

There's really little to no thinking about the reality of enforcing such laws Constitutionally or otherwise.

I see, and how do you plan on determining whether it was premeditated vs manslaughter vs negligence?

Like what happens if you're 8 weeks pregnant, you go out drinking with your girlfriends and end up having a miscarriage the next day?

How are we going to determine whether the woman did that on purpose because she was trying to kill the baby or if she did it because she didn't realize she was pregnant at the time?

What happens if a woman "falls down the stairs?" Did you know that 1/3 of all pregnancies in the United States end in a miscarriage? How are you going to prove that an Abortion was Premeditated? How are you even going to prove that the woman knew she was pregnant at all?

2/3rds embryos don’t survive

Which fertilized eggs will become healthy human fetuses? Researchers predict with 93% accuracy -- ScienceDaily

Two-thirds of all human embryos fail to develop successfully. Now, in a new study, researchers have shown that they can predict with 93 percent certainty which fertilized eggs will make it to a critical developmental milestone and which will stall and die. The findings are important to the understanding of the fundamentals of human development at the earliest stages, which have largely remained a mystery despite the attention given to human embryonic stem cell research.

New York law;

"NEVER happens"... really?

On May 13 abortionist Kermit Gosnell was found guilty of the murder of three newborn children and the negligent death of one patient.

How was he found guilty if New York Law allows it?

Oh that's right because it actually has nothing to do with the New York law at all. Try again.

So, you found zero legally performed elective abortions of healthy viable fetuses. Thank you.

and Gosling was a criminal, using illegal methods, more than a decade ago.

I wasnt asking for history.

So you didnt prove your claim.

You said it NEVER happens. Fact is it does.

You said it NEVER happens. Fact is it does.

Nope, that was more than a decade ago.

And not legally. If it's done illegally...then legislation wont make a difference in those anyway.

There's really little to no thinking about the reality of enforcing such laws Constitutionally or otherwise.

When you ask one of the pro-lifers to decide upon punishment for abortion, they usually dodge it. Its nothing but a wedge issue created by Jerry Falwell to get people to give him money. Then he merged with the GOP and they both saw a money and power train, it was a hell of a sales job on otherwise pretty decent people. Now the baby has turned into Frankenstein and they have no idea what to do with it. I hope this just reaches it inevitable conclusion soon so the rest of us can go about our lives without this issue coming up every election cycle.

Yep. You said NEVER. That makes my examples appropriate.

I said they ARE never. And they're not. Not in more than a decade.

Heck you can go back far enough and prove blacks are still slaves too by your poor faith posting.

"Black people are never slaves." :doh

If there is reason to suspect that a given death was the result of foul play, then an investigation should be conducted. If the investigation uncovers proof of a crime, then charges should be filed.

It really isn't that complicated.

No, it isn't that complicated, these laws will not stand in the USA, funny how several actually think they will, yet Always lose. Beginning to wonder if the pro-life bunch is being played, do ya feel it, you should.

No penalty at all for the mother or the physician doing the abortion if done properly. Why? The foetus is not a person with rights and responsibilities. I am anti abortion but I am more anti-state intrusion into a woman's right to make her own medical decisions with respect to her own body. The foetus may be a different organism but it is not a separate person from the mother until birth. The mother is the decision maker for both.

Cheers.

NEVER means NEVER. Your words. The FACTS contradict you. But by all means don't let facts get in your way...

They dont happen. You could only come up with something more than a decade ago.

So apparently...never does mean never now. Esp. legally which is what we were discussing.

Just own it.

What is the criteria for a woman bleeding? Does she have to not flush the toilet until the cops get there? How is 'foul play' determined?

Is carrying the groceries up 4 flights of stairs a crime? Riding a bike? Not taking prenatal vitamins? Eating really spicy food?

I'm really, really pro-chioce and want the legal abortion window extended to 69 months after conception. It empowers the woman a make much more informed choice as to whether or not they really wanted to have that child or not.

You've been watching too much South Park.

As I said in the other thread:

Unlike liberals, conservatives don't want to micromanage everyone's lives, so we wouldn't support the nonsense you've spoken of.

You're making the mistake of assuming that pro-lifers are just like leftists except for opposing abortion. We aren't.
