Please only answer this question if you're pro-life and would like to see abortion banned. I'm really just curious about your expectations for how a post Roe vs Wade landscape will pan out. What is the punishment going to be if you're caught?

I voted for a fine for the performer. It wasn’t an option, but compulsory reversible sterilization for the woman.
 
I'm really, really pro-chioce and want the legal abortion window extended to 69 months after conception. It empowers the woman a make much more informed choice as to whether or not they really wanted to have that child or not.

This is an absolutely hideous position that enables the state to make decisions that completely gut bodily autonomy.

Choices have consequences, and regret is not a good enough reason to upend the sole barrier to stately intrusion in the most egregious way to personal of matters.
 
I would say life in prison for the performer and some serious therapy for the mother because anyone, especially a mother, who thinks it's okay to have their own child killed has a ton of serious psychological problems, and they had been given extremely poor and very misguided education about pregnancy. Again, I contend that not only this has to deal with the killing of babies but ANYONE. I truly believe these hardcore "shout your abortion" crowd actually wants to make murder in general legal, but only for them. Of course it can be extended to true believers of Left wing ideology. Obama, when he was a candidate, basically said when it came to sick elderly people, instead of helping them, the government would give them a pill and "counsel" them on death (even when the vast majority of them have a will to live). The Left many times, including half scientist Richard Dawkins, said that babies that have downs syndrome or any other special needs need to be aborted immediately, even when they're healthy, because they said that crowd would "have a terrible life" while they're alive (when it's not even remotely true). They probably feel the same way about physically handicapped people and those they simply disagree with. So this issue of abortion IS important. If this floodgate isn't closed, well, we could live in a world where it's a lot like the Purge movie series, ran by the Left.

It never should have been. People need to be careful what they wish for in this aspect. I don't want them telling pregnant women to do as much as I don't want them telling gun owners to hand over their private property.

It's important for totally different reasons than you propose. Moreover, it does not meet the definition of murder. Additionally, the reason its important is because Roe shields the people from invasion of privacy by the state in a matter wholly personal and private.

I have no stomach for conservative authoritarianism in this regard.

It's not murder, there is no personhood status for an unborn, undeveloped lump of cells, and that's the end of the discussion. As much as science can show a fetus looks like a baby, science also shows that this entity is not worthy of or eligible for personhood.

Lastly, it's not your ****ing business, and I know of no leftists advocating for the legality of murder.

Yes, reversible sterilization - which women would undoubtedly prefer over abortion anyway if it were as accessible. And it more less guarantees no recidivism.

Wrong. I don’t support a murder charge for anyone. And I wouldn’t support sterilization for the man since abortion is the sole choice of women isn’t it? Over 90% of women who seek an abortion do so simply because they don’t want to be pregnant and don’t want to have a child. Reversible sterilization is the appropriate preventative measure.

The only way to sterilize a woman is a tubal ligation. To my knowledge, that is not reversible.

On the other hand, a vasectomy is reversible. Why is the burden of a two-person consequence only visitied on the female? If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament.
