Democrats haven't tried to address that, where's the legislation?

The democrats don't like my idea of going after employers either.

And as both sides don't like it, but it is probably the biggest elephant in the room, ima say I'm dead right about it.

And the democrats aren't running all over this country screaming about the problem while studiously avoiding any mention of this aspect.

So there's that.

It isn't the biggest elephant in the room unless you haven't thought it through. The execution of such a law would take massive resources and cooperation from local law enforcement (which won't happen mostly in liberal sanctuary cities, and others) even if passed into law.

You have personally seen 25-30 illegals living in a 2 bedroom apartment? I find that extremely hard to believe and just more than a little hyperbolic.

I'm sorry you feel that way. These incidents have been covered in our local news. You could do a search at the Columbus Dispatch our main newspaper where you will find such accounts that have been reported in recent years. There's one in particular that occurred on the westside of Columbus where a fire started in an apartment complex and it was discovered over 2 dozen illegals living in one apartment. We have a problem with business owners hiring illegals especially in roofing, lawn/garden and flooring. What happens is these workers once they get employed they send for their families to join them. But as of 2018 the feds/ICE has been busting employers here in Ohio for hiring illegals.

I've been around and get out plenty. I personally know of such living arrangements as you have in your experience and we have both concluded that we have not seen 25-30 people living in a two bedroom apartment. Sure, there are cramped living spaces but nothing close to what someone claimed.

Thanks for agreeing with me.
It's possible to draw that kind of conclusion, though, when there seems to be an endless stream of people in and out, and anyway, the possible exaggeration aside, spotlighting that small handful of words might be seen by more suspicious readers as steering the dialogue away from the much more important focus of the post, which is how elements of the topic at hand are negatively affecting tax paying Americans living in Ohio.

This republic wasn't designed to handle this many lawbreakers. We were designed for mostly sane, educated and morally sound people who believe in self government (i.e., governing themselves individually). Illegals don't come to follow our laws or melt into our culture; they come to steal money and establish their own cultures. We will become a police state, if we don't stop this.
Intense multiculturalism is part and parcel of the Demographic invasion George Soros and the rest of the globalist community need as part of their agenda of erasing any sense of American History or culture -- most of those useful idiots who were tearing down American historic monuments a couple of years ago were the types of suckers, rubes, dumbjohns and the usual patriotism-challenged lost souls one finds in every society and sellers of every kind of snake oil thrive on. You completely missed the point. Illegal immigration effects all states. Though I am not a border state we have felt real consequences from the number of illegals that have come here.

And as a country I would think one would see the devastation the border states who have been hit the hardest and know it can not be sustained. So until the Democrats are willing to address this crisis, may these illegals be bused to every district that has chosen to elect a Democrat who is either unwilling to address the problem or just pretends there isn't one,..... Let them pay for it. Let their property taxes increase having to pay to school their children. Let their state and local budgets feel the drain when it comes to housing, food for all these people. Let their emergency rooms be filled with those who can not pay.

My hope is to see them dropped off by the thousands into every Democratic district across the country. Let them deal with it.

Go drop them all off at Palm Beach county. Maybe Trump can give them all jobs at Mar a Lago, like he did all the other undocumenteds?

By the very content of your post, you demonstrate that you're not much of an American.

The border states are part of this country, friend, and if you believe there's something wrong with someone from Ohio being concerned about them, even after describing what your Democrats' refusal to do their job instead of snapping at the president's heels had done to Ohio as well, you have completely defined yourself, telling everybody who reads your post everything any patriotic American needs to know about you.

Or was your post some form of "shut up and mind your business while we continue our agenda of changing this country into something different?"

You know, it really doesn't matter what any of you lefties post, you're so transparent that your malevolence toward America and your hypocrisy are like giant billboards.

That's a typical "don't really know much about anything, but being well programmed by leftist MSM propaganda, don't need to know much."

Everything one of you folks "needs to know" can be found in slogans printed on one or more lefty bumper stickers.[emoji849]

Here. I googled this for you. Take your pic of any one of several sources. Unless you consider them all "leftist MSM propaganda."

There are 225,000 in the pipeline now and the budget is for 60,000 a year to shelters while their claims are being processes. IMO, this is being teed up to a court refusal, forcing them to be released in the community they are in.

So what do you feel about this?

Bear in mind they are going to be sent somewhere.

Back where they came from works for me.

I have no doubt that he did hire illegals at some point, or that someone in his organization might have at one time, but he hasn't any time recently, possibly because he, like many others who did the same at one time, finally saw how widespread the problem was.

Whatever. He doesn't now and hadn't for some time before the left, who are exceptionally good at "delving into the pasts" of everyone but their own candidates, many of whose pasts would undoubtedly make for interesting reading.

Today, however, he is giving America more value for a president who isn't even keeping his salary than generations of president's who were cashing their checks, and that is more important to those of us who place country before politics.

TDS is its own mental disorder; anyone who chooses to ignore his excellent results to date as POTUS in favor of attacking his character and/or yelling for impeachment is free to do so in our free society -- I've been around the block more than a lot of people, and understand that there will always be those who are natural buffoons, and little can be done to change them.

Also that buffoonery is one if the side effects of TDS. [emoji16]

~ snip ~ For years, and into Trump’s presidency, the president’s golf clubs employed undocumented workers as waiters, groundskeepers and housekeepers, according to the accounts of more than 35 former workers and supervisors who spoke to The Post. In doing so, Trump reaped the financial benefits of using undocumented employees — an ability to pay his employees lower wages and fewer benefits — while reaping the political benefits of attacking it. ~ snip ~

Buffoonery indeed.

Yeah, yeah, and still, if and when he did, it was in the past.

Meanwhile, you TDSers are such hypocrites, you ignore all the corrupt, pay-to-play stuff your Dems are actively engaged in.

Try googling Elijah Cummings pay-to-play. for example. Wonder why all these Dem politicians leave office rich? Of course you don't, even when there's more evidence of corruption there than the zero evidence of anything against Trump.

Dems: 'There must be something we can get him for, so let's keep wasting the taxpayers' hard earned money and time 'investigating' him."

Meanwhile, the economy is soaring, unemployment is at a 30+ year low, lots of other good things are happening that weren't under Obama...

And you actually believe Hillary would have been a good POTUS? Right. [emoji849]

So you're attempting to say Donald Trump personally hire illegal aliens, and knew they were illegal, when he did?

No. The undocumented workers that he hired, and some say even gave fake papers to, are saying that. (He = his properties that he is responsible for)

Also - don't you think it's odd that he only very recently started using E-Verify in his properties, a tool that is used to insure that you are not hiring people without papers?

Also - don't you think it's odd that even though he only recently started using it in some of his properties, he is already planning to cut the E-Verify budget, to make it easier to hire undocumented workers?

Don't you think that any of this is odd? Something smells around the Trump properties, and it's not the fish.

The economy is great (in your opinion, but ask a few million people who are losing their jobs how they feel about it), so that gives him a pass to trample all over the Constitution?

Not for most of us, it doesn't. It's not OK.

But keep on with your whataboutism, with Hillary, Elijah Cummings, etc. Smacks of desperation. Too bad you can't see that.

Is it a lobster smell? It's his pubes.

Haven't had a trim since Chubby Checker did the twist.

Unemployment is currently at it's lowest in about three decades and employers are complaining of worker shortages.

Today we are seeing the first employees' market in the same amount of years.

There is certainly no shortage of available jobs. [emoji849]

E-Verify is not a requirement, it's voluntary. Also, at this point, there are problems with it.

I have heard nothing about the President's plan to cut E-Verify. Please post a link to that.

Don't you think his actions regarding illegal aliens suggest that doesn't make sense.

Now it a New Democratic Party member said that, I'd get it, because of their open borders/pro illegal alien stance.

They should be sent back to their home country, or the country they entered the U.S. illegally from, banned from entering legally for a period of 1 year or more, and depending on the circumstances some should be banned permanently.

Thank you. That was an interesting link. Didn't use it because I don't trust something like that.

I did google it on my own and found an article from the liberal outfit Politico.

It stated: Trump seeks cuts to E-Verify - POLITICO

The White House requested roughly $122 million in discretionary funds for the electronic program in fiscal year 2020, down from the $133 million that Congress spent in the spending package approved in February, H.J. Res. 31 (116). ($133 million was what the Trump administration requested for fiscal year 2019, and also for fiscal year 2018.) Here at Morning Shift, we wondered briefly whether we were seeing things. But a USCIS spokesman assured us that the 8 percent cut was real: A higher funding level is no longer needed thanks to technological modernization. A senior administration official added that the White House still favors legislation to make E-Verify mandatory nationwide.

So by 2020, advancements will improve the system while requiring less funding.

But thanks for mentioning the dog whistle the NDP and their MSM partners uses on it's gullible target audience.
