LOL! He's not a private citizen. Can't have it both ways; he works for the White House.
He categorically refused to sit for an interview with Mueller.
You're welcome.

"GARRETT: So it is said, Mr. Mulvaney, that Donald Trump Jr. today was subpoenaed by the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is run by a Republican. True?

MULVANEY: I understand it to be true, yeah. I found out about that just before I came over here.

GARRETT: Implications?

MULVANEY: I have no idea. Um—

GARRETT: Scared?

MULVANEY: Again, I have no opinion about that because he is a private citizen and not a member of the administration. That being said, the fact that the President's son got a subpoena from a Republican-led committee—and listen, I'm all for bipartisanship on Intel Committees. I think it's one of Adam Schiff's great failings, is to—is to sort of politicize the Intel Committee in the House. So I have no difficulty with bipartisanship, but to subpoena the president of the United States son and not at least get a heads-up, I thought was -- let's say bad form.

GARRETT: So what you're telling me is there was no heads-up.

MULVANEY: I—I didn't know about it.

That is some top drawer logic, there. If you find yourself in prison you will do and go where they take your shackled ass. :2wave:

Mmmm, yeah, it don't work like that...lol

I believe he will, but then just show up and plead the 5th.

He's testified enough already. This crap goes on and on forever. Time for him to simply say enough.

edit : it's the Senate, so i'll change my vote to other. the Senate leans Tweetycult.

LOL! That's Mulvaney talking. A pathologically partisan hack under the thumb of his god, twump.

His opinion about Jr. isn't based in the law or in reality. Jr. works for this administration. As such, he's not a private citizen.

You're welcome.

...because when I think of the Trump family, truth is at the forefront of my thoughts.......

They should nail Barron. He was bound to have heard something while he was lying in his crib some years back.

The left gets so excited with every false accusation against any Trump.

AND THE BEAT GOES ON.

Ah, like I posted elsewhere, try:

"paste as plain text"
Yep, agreed.

That's too much work - Command V for me, and you get what you get! ;)

FWIW, I voted NO, because Trump is in full obstruct everything and anything having to do with Congress and they can't cooperate with the GOP Senate then give the middle finger to the House. So the Senate will have to take it to court and etc.....

Of course, the GOP will have to defend not showing up for Congressional subpoenas, until a Democrat refuses, then it will be terrible, awful, etc.

I said no. Members of the Trump Crime Syndicate think they are above the law and answer to no one.

Yesterday, the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee subpoenaed Donald Trump Jr. to answer additional questions about Russian interference in the 2016 election. It seems the Intelligence Committee is wholly unsatisfied with Junior's previous testimony regarding (1) the infamous Trump Tower meeting with Russian operatives and (2) Junior's previous testimony regarding the proposed Moscow Trump Tower. It seems Junior may have perjured himself more than once.

Will Donald Trump Jr. willingly honor the GOP Senate Intelligence Committee subpoena?

See the attached poll.

Don't know and I honestly don't care at this point. The democrats could get everything they wanted in a woven basket with a nice bow and they'd still be unhappy and still try to keep either attacking Trump, or his base.

I'm pretty much done with all this BS at this point and ready to just check out till 2020. When either Trump wins again because of all of this stupidity, or Yang gets his go as president.

That is if the Dems are willing to let him have it.

If they got 'everything they wanted' that would include the evidence against Trump so naturally they'd keep attacking him.

No, even after that they'd keep attacking. Him and his base till the point he most likely blinked out of existence. That's been the way they've operated for the last fours years now and no matter the setbacks they've faced. They've still done nothing but attack him and his base. For both viable reasons and baseless ones.

It is one of the duties of Congress to conduct oversight of the Executive Branch.

The GOP Senate has abrogated that duty and has allowed the Trump administration to aggrandize power.

The Democrat House on the other hand, is fulfilling its duty to the Constitution and is conducting oversite on the Executive.

Don't blame the Dems for performing the duties that the Founding Fathers intended of the Congressional branch.

And ask yourself, why doesn't the GOP give a rats ass anymore about the Constitution, the separation of powers, and Congressional checks and balances?

I think he'll show up. He isn't the stupid son (Eric). He's just the dishonest one. He'll show and testify.

I'm anxious to know why Burr did this. What's missing that they need to hear from him?

Trump and his family think the rules do not apply to them. Given their experiences, they seem to have gotten away with treating the law with contempt. A poor person has to obey the law, the rich seem to live by different rules.

I don't think I'm getting ahead of my ski's but IMO it's Biden's son Hunter that will be in the crosshairs of the Dept. of Justice & other
relative bodies looking into evil doings not Trump Jr.

Neither Don Jr. or Don McGahn will respond to their subpoena. Both will phone in their Fifth amendment. They don't even have to appear before Congress to do it.

The filth that has overcome Washington will bring out dirt on anyone opposing Trump, and it's not going to end until the 2020 election is over and done with. It does't matter who it is and for the time being, the target is Joe Biden because he's the front-runner at the moment. It could be Mother Teresa in the forefront right now leading polls, it wouldn't matter. Someone on the right will figure out a way to disparage and diminish her in the eyes of the public.

From being at the bottom of the barrel to the top of the world I nominate Hunter Biden!
China on top of Ukraine is also filling Biden’s second son pockets as he secured $1 billion in financing from the Bank of China,
an arm of the Chinese government — for a private equity firm founded by himself and Christopher Heinz, the
stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry. That private equity firm was named Bohai-Harvest RST (BHR).
Not a bad comeback for Hunter Biden who was unceremoniously discharged from the Navy for covaine usage.
And for China not a bad investment to eventually get a deal favorable to them.

Biden loves his children and would do anything for them, but when you’re the vice president, you can’t run
around doing favors for America’s enemies to help make money for your son.
For the exception of being too old, too white, too male, and too straight... Joe has all of the qualifications
to be the Democrat nominee…

I voted "NO" he will not.

I am certain all the Trumps have skeletons they are a hiding.

Don't ask fro proof, it is my opinion.

On a serious note though, I got a good chuckle at the Poll Question, since there really is no way that the word "honor" ever belongs in any sentence associated with a Trump.
