Here is the smoking gun proving what Barr did was an adjudication of duty and it is reprehensible.

Report of the Special Counsel on the Investigation Into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election and Obstruction of Justice (March 2019)

Dear Attorney General Barr:

I previously sent you a letter dated March 25, 2019, that enclosed the introduction and executive summary for each volume of the Special Counsel's report marked with redactions to remove any information that potentially could be protected by Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure that concerned declination decisions; or that related to a charged case. We also had marked an additional two sentences for review and have now confirmed that these sentences can be released publicly.

Accordingly, the enclosed documents are in a form that can be released to the public consistent with legal requirements and Department policies. I am requesting that you provide these materials to Congress and authorize their public release at this time.

As we stated in our meeting of March 5 and reiterated to the Department early in the afternoon of March 24, the introductions and executive summaries of our two-volume report accurately summarize this Offices work and conclusions. The summary letter the Department sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this Offices work and conclusions. We communicated that concern to the Department on the morning of March 25. There is new public confusion about critical aSpects of the results of our investigation. This threatens to undermine a central purpose for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence in the outcome of the investigations. See Department of Justice, Press Release (May 17, 2017).

While we understand that the Department is reviewing the full report to determine what is appropriate for public release process that our Office is working with you to complete that process need not delay release of the enclosed materials. Release at this time would alleviate the misunderstandings that have arisen and would answer congressional and public questions about the nature and outcome of our investigation. It would also accord with the standard for public release of notifications to Congress cited in your letter. See 28 C.F.R. 609(c) ('the Attorney General may determine that public release' of congressional notifications 'would be in the public interest').

Sincerely yours,

Robert S. Mueller III Special Counsel

No but that Hawaiian Senator certainly should. What a disgrace!

ALL Mueller's letter says is he is urging releasing the full report. With required redactions Barr did just that. In fact, Democrats were complaining that Barr released it TOO soon and they wanted him to wait until after Easter. THIS IS HOW MUCH DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS LIE LIE LIE - incessantly lie.

Not one word of Mueller's letter indicates Barr's letter had anything inaccurate in it. The only purpose of that letter was Mueller urging release of his report - which Barr did - and Democrats were FURIOUS that Barr didn't hold it longer.

So now Democrats want Barr removed because he released the report? This is so unbelievably idiotic no words can describe it.

It's moot. Barr will resign before too long anyway. In a matter of weeks or months. Why? Because it's the trump admin. It's a revolving door (or perhaps a sinking ship). And when his officials get tainted with the wrongdoing they quit and get out of the firing line. Trump won't stand by him (he only stands by Putin). He'll throw him under the bus like all the others. So it is inevitable barr will resign, whether he 'should' or 'not'. He's unlikely to finish his tenure. Nobody there ever does.

No.

Why should he? He hasn't done anything illegal.

Because everyone whose last name isn't Trump resigns from the Trump administration.

I'm not entirely clear on what he's done that warrants it, but...possibly?

I voted no specifically because of resignation.

If he committed a crime or failed to do his job, terminate him with cause. Resigning would mostly just look like he thought his job was done. If there isn't sufficient cause to fire him, there isn't a good enough reason for him to resign.

I'm not sure what all I believe and what I don't at this point as there is still a feeding frenzy all around the report.

That's not the reason people have been leaving the trump admin though is it? It's usually to escape the s**tshow.

For what?

Of course the lying, disengenous , fat assed , political hack Barr should resign. American taxpayers didn;t pay millions of dollars and wait all of this time to have one of Obese Donny's crooked cronies misrepresent Mueller's finding's per Mueller himself. Trump is becoming more and more like Lil Rocket man with each passing day.

it's amazing that this guy ruined any legacy he had in order to run interference for a fool. cults are like that, though, i guess.

Barr's at the front of the show right now. He wouldn't be escaping. And they make sure it's never clear why someone is leaving. Trump is very quick to throw smoke when someone exits.

I believe Barr's impeachment is in order.

Literally fake news.

Literally fake news.

Why are you bringing up Trump's delusional claim he repeatedly states about his father being born in Germany ? Do you have a valid explanation for such lunacy from a guy who claims to be a 'stable genius' ? No red herrings herrings or deflections please. Just answer the 'fair' question to the best of your ability. ( good luck )

Has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Meanwhile, your lie did.

So no explanation whatsoever, as expected. Don't feel badly. Their is no rational explanation as to why anyone would repeatedly claim their father was born somewhere he clearly wasn't.....nice deflection though...Trump's lie about his father's birth place is 'literally fake news, which you introduced.' hence the relevance....deal with it.

You started with your deflection after I pointed out your blatant lie.

Anyone that answers yes to this is a partisan hack.

Your claiming it was a lie doesn't make it a lie. But trump most certainly lied about where his father was born on multiple occasions. This has been verified. Do you deny this 'fact.' ?

I got two new volunteers for my ignore list just today!

You did clearly lie. Did Trump lie too? Yea sure probably. I can't address him directly like I can you though.

I am going to say 'no' at this point. He has made some glaring missteps with respect to the Mueller report ( that press conference, Wow) , but I have yet to see this as a pattern across the board,
