Should Trump resign?

Should Trump resign?

I think the country is quite sick of the entire Trump / Russia / Collusion / Obstruction / Election controversy. Now that we have FBI vetted proof, would resignation not be the best thing for the country? Impeachment is ugly and would guarantee a couple more years of this crap and I don't think anyone really wants it, especially if it will be blocked by Republicans.

Should Trump resign?

What "FBI vetted proof" are you referring to?

In many places that's taken as an endorsement thx.

The armband right sees it otherwise of course but that's what defines 'em.

Republicans / Conservatives feel compelled to post as if Putin were minding his own business and over there only. He is not and his business is to be up the, er, nose of the USA. The MAGA Boyz don't seem to mind or take seriously their Putin is a Russian nationalist who views all Americans with disdain. You guys are likely to find yourselves on the train right behind the EU members train. To where ever the tracks lead. While Trump ignores it.
More loony left lib-tard drivel. I get it you think Trump is the devil. So you are jumping on every lib-tard Trump is the devil band wagon.

Those percentages has been pretty constant since the day after the election give or take a few points. Personally, I don't care one way or the other. But I do think the polarization that has taken place in our politics will lead this country further down the road to its destruction. That polarization and hard core partisanship has made our government dysfunctional. Party loyalist can't see that, Pro and anti Trumpers are blind as a bat to the harm they are both causing.

What I'm fearful of is a precedence has been set, whichever party is out of power will try to destroy the president of the other party regardless of the repercussions to the country. I don't think this is all about Trump, but ingrained within the hyper partisan politics that has invaded our two major parties.

I think you're absolutely right.

NO, there is no reason for him to resign.

In the future, if the SENATE Republicans ask him to resign (as they did to President Nixon), he would have no choice but to turn the office over to Vice President Pence.

The Dems might find that it will be harder than they expect to beat a President Pence because (presumably) Trump supporters + fair-minded Independents & fair-minded Dems (yes, there are some) will turn out in droves.

I wonder how many other Americans are as sick of the constant state of siege as I am.

The state of siege this nation has been under due to the disgusting pig in the white house?

I know!!!

He can't resign. He'll be vulnerable to be indicted and prosecuted. Being president was the only reason Mueller couldn't indict trump for conspiracy to betray the U.S. and for obstruction of justice!

No he should not resign because of some loony lib-tard Trump/Russia conspiracy theory. Everyone who accused Trump of being a Russian spy/asset or accused him of colluding with Russia should apologize to the American people for wasting their time with this partisan crap.

He's just Putin's useful idiot!

Resign over what? The guy was cleared of the collusion lie. If anyone should resign it should be those on the left that have spread this lie over the last two years.

LOLOLOLOLOL :) Who's been doing the lying? I think we're up to 10k since he took office. You are soooooooooooo adorable :)

Yes...we are all tired of the leftists pushing conspiracy theories. Y'all need to resign from all social media, regular media, or making any public statements in general.

Have you read my signature? If all the meetings with Russians were on the up and up, why the need to try to cover up the meetings and lie about them?

I think you're absolutely right.

I don't think Trump is the cause to this problem, he is a symptom of the problem. The polarization and hyper partisanship. I have no doubt if Hillary had won the Republicans would have been trying to destroy her from day one just like the Democrats have tried to do to Trump. I do think this country is in danger of being torn apart from within. I also think Speaker Pelosi recognizes that, that is why I don't think she'll let impeachment happen.

It's kind of like the tea party was a thorn in the side of the GOP, Pelosi has her radical Democrats who can't see past getting rid of Trump even if do so tears this country apart. Does major harm. For me, the question is, can Pelosi hold those young tigers in check?

Then if the Democrats win in 2020, will the Republicans, their young turks try to destroy the next president without regard to the country either. I hope I'm reading all of this wrong.

Argh!

Now I am thirsting for Ouzo, whilst craving an antipasto salad, with mounds of feta cheese, all while having an odd desire to watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding!!!

Curse you!

Greetings, LouC. :2wave:

 . :lamo

Wrong.

I know that's too painful for you and others to be able to face, but it won't change the reality of it.

When trump loses in 2020 and is faced with civil and criminal charges do you think President Buttigieg will pardon him?

Yeah, that's what I do, relish and celebrate corruption, 'cause you say, I'm "laughably ignorant."

Like I said above....

You're not ignorant. You just treat your allegiance to trump as religious people regard the lord. You are blinded by your faith in a false god. Very similar to how cult followers view their leader.

That's all.

The discouraging point for me? "Without regard to the country." None of them gives a damn about the country.

Thank you for stopping by...

How about as part of an immunity deal?

How about as part of an immunity deal?

I don't think he'll be offered immunity. He'll be too easy to indict, once his term is over - that is unless his successor pardons him - but even then - presidential pardons only pertain to Federal crimes. The State of NY is waiting for him :)

The bottom line is - there is no incentive for any prosecutor to offer trump a deal. When he's out of office it'll be a slam dunk for any prosecutor!

You seem confused.
1. President Buttigieg? :lamo
2. Loses? There is no definitive at this point.
3. Pardon? You realize that if Trump thinks he is going to be charged with a crime (even though he may not have committed one) he would still have enough time after the election to issue a pardon to himself.

When is the last time I suggested that Democrats NOT impeach? I'm 100% of the opinion that they SHOULD impeach and have expressed that opinion dozens if not hundreds of times around here. Granted, I want them to impeach because I firmly believe that doing so will blow up in their faces but I have ALWAYS advocated for impeachment.

What a dodge. He was responding to your lie about obstruction not being as plain as day and you come back with a middle-school taunt.

How pitiful the trumpanzees are.

I would recommend that all of the people who've been obsessing over it get a job or a hobby or otherwise take up some useful non-pathological activity to occupy their time.

I would recommend that all the right-wing nuts deluding themselves that trump isn't filthy as **** come out of their mom's basement and take a shower.

Hmmm, 1 year and 7 months until the next election... I can put up with that for a chance to put this mother ****er away!

Or at least be held accountable for this injustice. And I believe that day is just around the corner where some heads are going to roll .

Heads are going to roll? Well, m'lady several already have - Flynn, Manafort, Gates, Pooh pooh doopolis, Stone and the beat goes on....

trump can't stay president forever - he'd better get on a plane to Argentina quickly when her term is over 'cause he's in twah bowl!

For Federal crimes, perhaps - the AG of the State of New York is waitin' on him my friend :) He's got some candy for Mr. trump :)

Hey, we're not gloating - we're just celebrating the efficiency of State of New York's system of justice :)
