Have any of you thought about how tall you would like to be? Would it be something different from your present height?

Many people want to be taller. It is an advantage in certain sports (basketball and volleyball). It is helpful if you are confronted by an assailant. Some people claim it is an advantage in applying for jobs or getting elected to office. And many claim it is a big advantage in social situations.

But being shorter has advantages in other sports (gymnasts and jockeys).

And many claim that smaller people are healthier and less prone to injury.

Vote in the poll for the height you would like to be and tell us why. Tell us your present height and any other comments.

I'm 6'3" so I'm happy with my height. ;)

I'm six foot even. It's a good height but I would rather be six foot three or four. That's the perfect athletic height.

Are you listening to Skee-lo again?

Ha! No, not this time. Plus, I'm already a baller...

I'm 6'1" now and I like the height, but sometimes I wish I were about 5'9". Nothing worse than going to a concert and blocking views of the people behind me. I hate that, but I also don't want to be relegated to the backrow cuz I'm not all that tall anyways, dammit.

6'2", like to be 6'3":3oops:

I've been short all my life, 5'5".

It's hard buying pants that fit. :3oops:

Out of the available choices, I voted that I would like to be 5'4"- 5'-6".
I am under 5'2".
On the other hand, perhaps I wouldn't change anything at this late date.
I know how to be a small person. It's part of my identity, it's who I am. I wouldn't know how to be a bigger person. I might have to change my whole way of dressing, being, and relating to others.

I hate shopping, so I would like to stay the same height and width for as long as possible.

I'm 5'10'' and perfectly happy. Being average sized means that everything is pretty much made to fit you and you can be alright in stuff meant for bigger or smaller people. On I have found myself wishing to be both bigger and smaller depending on the situation, so I guess I'm happy with my height.

I'm 5' 11". I like this height as it's just the right size for SuperSport motorcycles and considered above average I think (isn't average height for a male something like 5' 9"?). Any taller and you're really too tall for a middleweight and any shorter and you're too short for a liter bike...so...yea, right where I'm at.

I'm 6'3" and would like my legs to be 2" shorter so I can find pants in most stores that fit me.

Awww that's cute, I could carry you around in my pocket.

;)

I'm 5'6 and height isn't something I've thought much about, if at all, in relation to myself so I must be good with it.

I am happy at 6'3" myself. Tall enough to do whatever I need to, but not freakishly tall where people stare in wonder, and ask you if you play basketball all the time. It does kind of suck for weightlifting though, because I have to push/pull the weights further than shorter/stockier guys. But I am happy to keep my reach advantage. :boxer

I am the same height and feel the same way.

I'm six feet tall. I could handle 6'3" though.

Never really gave it any thought. Can't imagine that anythng would be better if I were taller.

I'm a little over 6 feet tall. 6'3"+ in heels. That's plenty tall enough

I'm only 5 foot so I would like say about 5 more inches. If nothing else but to be able to get things off the top shelf.

Not true- I am a walking disaster. Show me some stairs and I'm tripping down, or up, them in no time.
