I don't pick candidates based on what party they are in. If I think someone will make a great President I will vote for them.

I offered plenty of great choices. I forgot to put Candice Owens, Kirstjen nielson, Larry Elder and Nikki Haley. You can write them in if you like.

The limit of substantive contribution I am of a mind to make in this thread is to honestly answer the poll question. I'd have ticked "none of the above" were that option offered. Too, given the abundance of people who could conceivably run for POTUS, I was a bit surprised that "all of the above" and "none of the above" were not among the poll answer options; consequently I asked about the one of those two I'd have ticked.


I suspect the folks whom I'd name, Scott Keller, for instance, mean nothing to DP members, so there's little point in my naming them.

The Bible says those in the flesh persecute those in the Spirit. Cruz is a good man and a great Senator. Those who hate him tend to hate him for what he stands for, just like the wicked hate the righteous for standing on the Word of God.

Your hero Trump hated Ted Cruz during the GOP primaries, and in fact probably still hates him today (and I know Cruz doesn't like Trump at all, though he kisses his ass for political reasons). You saying the almighty Trump hates God?

Yeah...Shapiro only skipped two grades and attended Harvard at like 15 years old. A total low-IQ individual, if ever there was one. That said, I disagree with him on some important issues to me so I don't think he'd make a good Pres. Makes a good commentator though.

None of those really appeal to me. Shapiro is probably the best of the group but there are big issues that I disagree with him on, one of them being he's a little too warmongery for me.

I do not think Trump is right with God in many ways. I do think Cruz is right with God in many ways.

All Americans support whatever politician represents to them the best hope for doing the most good regardless of personalities.
 
I am not going to vote here, even if there were a candidate that did not make me a bit sick to the stomach when I read their names and their views, but these are all terrible candidates IMHO. If one of these ever gets elected to the presidency it will be the end of civil discourse in the congress and the senate because then I fear it will be that either side is out for blood. Or I could be massively surprised when even most GOP elected officials would denounce these people. But I am not holding my breath for that option to occur.

Every person on this list is a genius. They all are reasonable people who don't just respond from their emotions like the Democratic candidates.
