Trump Signing Bibles

Does Trump's signature on its cover void the Bible

I cannot understand why anyone would want anyone to sign their Bible or what parent would think that's a good idea for a child to have. It's a completely foreign concept to me.

For a child to have the President sign her bible. Not a terrible thing. Maybe it was the only thing she had handy. Not everybody in the U.S. is opposed to the President and links the U.S. value system to Christian religion. Lots of reasons why its OK. If you don't think so, don't ask him to sign it. There, easy solution and it didn't take a Congressional investigation by democrats.

So now liberals are outraged that President Trump signed some Bibles?????? That's important????? That's a story????? Wow... Trump really does live rent free in your heads.

I'm not a modern "liberal," but I'm a bit dumbfounded that he would sign a Bible. Well, I shouldn't be. He thinks 1 Corinthians is "one" Corinthians and doesn't seem to have any allegiance to or respect for anything in the Bible.

Yes, even "liberals" understand that one does not sign the cover of the ****ing Bible.

There is no such thing as a soul. Maybe that is where you should begin--at understanding the basics of biology. There is a brain, and it creates a mind. Nothing else exists beyond that.

The bible is a book of words written by men using their minds. But, those with weaker ones think it's more than a collection of stories bound together into a book.

It saddens me that you think you have no soul.

You don't have one either--certainly not in a physical sense. Of course, you can imagine that you have anything you wish. I imagine lots of things. But, I know they are not real.

It saddens me that you refuse to accept reality.

Back in my Christian days, even divorced people were frowned upon. They could be members, but certainly not deacons or ministers. But even then, many would view remarried folks as "living in perpetual sin".

So it's quite ironic that a man who cheated on his 1st wife with his 2nd wife, cheated on his 2nd wife with his 3rd wife, screwed a porn star just after the birth of his son from his 3rd wife, and then paid for her silence would be signing bibles.

Evangelical hero!

Post of the year.

So before this story the Godless people considered the bible just another book. Now the Bible is sacred and holy!

Maybe these people are moving to the right side of the tracks.

So I've read 3 articles about this, 2 state he signed Bibles at the Alabama tornado site. The third is a little more complete, saying he signed the cover of a Bible given to him by a 11 year old girl who asked him to sign it, he signed on the cover which was camo pink cover. Then signed the Bible of a friend of that girl. Harmless enough. What he should have told the girls "no"!

That's exactly what he should have told them. He should not sign a Bible. Sorry, that's just wrong.

Satan signing the good book. What a dilemma, I agree. :lamo

Yes because it is outrageous that he would sign Bibles. Why any conservative finds this acceptable says a lot about what a ****show conservatism has become.

Trump could burn the flag while urinating on the Bible, and people would find a way to make excuses.

Who is outraged by autographed Bibles? The same people outraged by AOC dancing?

I voted no. It doesn't void the Bible, but it was still egregiously wrong for him to do that.

I wanted it to be like in Raiders of the Lost Ark when the Nazis stamped those crates and their symbol began to burn.

And then Trumps face would melt. COOOOLLLLL!!!!!!

I am. As a Christian, I find the idea of a politician signing the Bible to be very wrong.

Why is it wrong? Is there any rules in Christianity that prohibits this or mentioned in the bible specifically, whether implicit or explicit?

More a show of what snowflake reactionary Trump haters liberalism has become. For some reason I doubt that if it were Obama you would be complaining.

When I was a youngster I was given a couple of Bibles. They were given to me by people in the church and all of them included a written note and signature. Not a lot of difference.

It does make you wonder doesn't it? They just don't understand why we think they're following a personality cult. How could we possibly think that?

This fake partisan outrage is similar to the fake Smollett story. Haven't you people learned your lesson?
