Has the left leaning media, hollywood celebrities and political leaders overstepped in their rush to judge in cases like the Covington Catholic School students and the Jussie Smollett incendents?

yes

No

Nobody is clean when it comes to all the hyperbole and hysterics these days.

Democrats and Republican are every bit as guilty as each other.

Debate Politics is packed full of people who could care less what their side gets away with as it is their guy/gal, and as long as they have power. (team sport?)

Both parties are full of politicians who rabble rouse to create a screen for them not living up to their campaign promises, and their minions lap it right up.

With that said, kudo's to the few remaining fair minded liberals and conservatives on here.

And that justifies a physical assault?
There's a reason that Trolling and flaming gets you suspended on most forums. The whole point of it is to agitate. You don't walk into UC Berkley pretending you want to educate students on right-wing lunacy unless you're hoping to get punched. You're intentionally trying to start an incident.

Load of crap, Wonkster. He joked about that one or two times.

No, he literally said he would pay the legal fees of anybody that assaulted the protester. Also, you seem to be forgetting that just last week a Trump supporter violently attacked a Cameraman for doing his job and filming the rally. Apparently because he didn't like the channel he worked for. The camera guy wasn't even trolling. He was just doing his job.

That **** head who was planning on shooting a bunch of Democrats and Journalists this week? His list of people to kill referred to Elizabeth Warren as "Poca Warren." Where did he come up with that name I wonder?

Any other President at any other moment in history would have been impeached and charged with incitement for half of what comes out of this piece of ****'s mouth. So don't come at me with some random student at a college a ****ty Trump supporter showed up at.

He's a punk eh? How often do you pick on children? Tell us more about what you would like to do to a child who wears a hat you don't like.

You defend him because Trump is a punk too, I get that.

WHAT "overwhelming gerrymandering"? Specifics, please.
What ****ing world do you live in? Democrats have won the majority of votes in the house more than once in the last ten years and still didn't win the House. If it wasn't for courts throwing out a number of racist Republican district maps they still might not have been able to win.

Then look up ballot harvesting.

You mean the thing that the Republican from North Carolina was doing that is now forcing a new election to be held?

Sorry, buddy. Liberals don't need to cheat. We're the majority whether you like it or not.

Yeah, we have half a dozen declared Presidential candidates falling all over themselves seeing who can proposed the most outlandish free stuff giveaways and searching for ridiculous stuff to ban because "the people don't know what's good for them". IF the GOP is a dumpster fire, the Democratic Party is a portapotty fire.

Oooh, sick burn! "I know you are, but what am I?"

Where'd you learn how to debate? PeeWee's Playhouse?

When the Right ever gets around to judging Donald Trump for the constant lies, misdeeds and criminal acts they can start worrying about the 1 or 2 times liberals went a bit overboard. It's really just amazing how Liberals are expected to be perfect because we usually are, but the right get's a pass on everything because everything they do is horrible. The Right is like that ****ty kid who is always doing something stupid or horrible so at some point, you just stop getting disappointed. But when the kid who is a straight-A student skips 1 class we act like the sky is falling.

So, your analogy compares the right to a kid that " is always doing something stupid or horrible ", and the left to" the kid who is a straight-A student skips 1 class" ? Not to objective. Oh, BTW, there's been more than 1 hate crime hoax. When a legit hate crime happens by a white perpetrator, the left can't get to a mic fast enough to condemn the perp, and connect it to Trump, his administration and his supporters. When it turns out to be a hoax by a black/gay man, it's all Trump's fault. When it's a white SCOTUS nominee get's smeared, with a 35 year old charge, with no witnesses, the victim must be believed. When there's video, wittiness's, confessions by co-conspirators, and a $3500 check with the perp's name on it, it's "Let's wait for the facts before we rush to judgement." Do you realize what this does to legitimate victims? But "getting Trump" is more important. Right? Um..er….correct?

WTF are you talking about. So Dems piled up big majorities in a few districts, but didn't win enough districts.

So let's hold new elections in the numerous California districts where it was also done.

And yet GOP picked up seats in the Senate were voting is state wide and gerrymandering would have no effect.

No

LOL uhm based on what standard?

in general no "nobody has overstepped"
now with that said partisanship IS out of control on all sides but ive seen nothing to condemn those people on the left as a whole just like i havent seen anything on the right to judge them as a whole.

in fact what i see are people(left and right) judge and call out the PRESIDENT(he is NOT the right) based on his actions and because he brings it on himself

in general i see more INDIVIDUALS on the right attack the LEFT as a whole than I do INDIVIDUALS on the left attack the right as a whole but thats meaningless since ALL those individuals are wrong

Do you have any examples? any examples that are unique and are based on the whole left

It appears that the 8 years of conservative hysteria over Obama have been all but forgotten.

Terrorist fist jab, anyone? :lamo

The answer to the thread question is YES.

But they are confident that they can still win because of the biased media, the deep state, and with the help of non-citizens who are voting.

Truth be told, they are correct in their arrogance.

What i have observed is, the left has become similar to a dog, who has been trained to attack. The conditioned trigger is a type of propaganda dog whistle. Once the whistle is blown, the dogs attack. Like an attack dog, there is no reasoning involved, but a blind conditioned reflex and response to the apparent circumstances, once the whistle sounds.

When the truth comes out, the trainer says bad dog, but then gives the dog a treat, as they justify the attack as warranted. The dog did good by acting on command. Too many years of fake news and hysteria appears to be the dog training recipe for left wing humans. They then hide behind cruelty to animal laws to avoid the bound. There is a lawyer who is taking the mad dogs and owners to court for $250M. There may be leash laws ahead.

The dog attacks are getting more frequent and worse, ever since it has been made known that the Mueller investigation is about to end. This will end a phase of persuasive fake news, way too soon, before the 2020 elections. If Barr then does the right thing, he will order an investigation into the Obama FBI and Justice Departments; pre-2016, where this all started. This will also involve the Clintons. They may or may not need to go back to the sale of Uranium to Putin where the Clinton foundation received $145 million. talk about collusion with that humanitarian Putin.

The Democrats leadership is acting more and more like a bunch of cornered rats, which explains the increased frequency of the dog whistle; attack commands. This may be a last ditch attempt to intimidate anyone who dares go after the left wing untouchables.

My advice to the left is, be a good dog, less you end up in the bound.

yes

No

Yes.

Absolutely!

Some of those folks are prone to do that.

Sadly human nature is such that many folks will rush to judgement.

Media, all radio/TV/online media have components that rush stories. That is the nature of reporting, getting "the scoop" means getting the attention and attention drives ad revenue.

Print media can usually take a little more time in their reporting.

I, normally, try not to jump right onto or into breaking stories because of learning early on how one can get burned by doing that. Often I will do some serious background work on the topic if it really interests me.

I asked you how often you pick on children. My support of Trump make you pick on children how exactly? Dodge again.

Dear Alpha
Please understand. Trumpism is evil.
The struggle between the right and the left is the epic battle of good vs evil.
By supporting Trump, you are choosing evil.
You can not hope to gain redemption by false couching a narration.

WHAT "overwhelming gerrymandering"? Specifics please. Then look up ballot harvesting.

Those of us here in NC know about ballot harvesting a good deal. Mark Harris is a well known name here for a reason. Want to guess which Party he's in?

Why is it that people cannot ask neutrally phrased questions without readers of the question inferring something about the inquirer? It's as though folks have forgotten the basics of grammar, one of which is the four types of sentences and their uses.

Your thinking that the OP-er asked the question with a presupposed stance on the nature of the existentially accurate answer is presumptuous of you. It is because the question contains nothing that suggests he does. Were the question loaded/leading, your inference could be warranted, depending on the load/lean; however, the OP-er's question is neutrally phrased (and there's nothing else in the OP that gives one any clues about load/lean), so one cannot infer the OP-er has a stance.

People routinely ask questions because they don't know the answer, know they don't know the answer, and want an/the answer. It's unfair to an inquirer to infer anything from a neutrally phrased interrogative sentence. Such sentences declare or imply nothing; they merely solicit information. Notwithstanding any exogenous context,

Rhetorical questions are a completely different thing. There can be much asserted and/or implied in such questions. The thing is that nobody with any sense would post a poll to pose a rhetorical question.

Integrityrespec never responded to my post if I was correct or not, so I take my assumption was correct.

Your lecture falls on deaf ears as I stopped reading at the end of the first sentence.

Republicans spent over four years digging and investigating Hillary Clinton, yet in all that time you could not come up with one single solitary charge to file against her. Nothing. In just two years the Mueller investigation(also headed by a registered Republican) has indicted more than 20 people including 6 high ranking members of the Trump campaign and named Trump himself as an unindicted co-conspirator to multiple felonies.

How you can even sleep at night making such an absolutely delusional statement is just astonishing.

Oh Please give me a break....Remember what Comey said..she was guilty as sin but we won't prosecute after Bill Clinton, AG Loretta Lynch meet on tarmac in Phoenix.
I never saw any evidence that Lynch and the Obama Justice department investigated the Clinton foundation or the Russian nuclear deal including $130 million Russian donation to her Foundation or the $500K Bill got for a speech in Moscow shortly before that deal closed.
Where was the investigation into the DNC and Hillary colluding with the Russians and paying for the Steel Dossier to find dirt on Trump? Why were all those search warrants issued using that same Dossier that Comey said before congress it was fake if it wasn't political motivated.
You won't get a charge against Hillary if you don't do a real investigation to the above. And Obama and Lynch didn't even bother investigating Hillary because they thought she was a shoe in for the presidency.

Oh Please give me a break....Remember what Comey said..she was guilty as sin but we won't prosecute after Bill Clinton, AG Loretta Lynch meet on tarmac in Phoenix.
Umm...no, what he said was that her actions were negligent, but not bad enough to call it a crime. In fact, it's been reported that Trump's kids have been using personal email for their government business as well.

I never saw any evidence that Lynch and the Obama Justice Department investigated the Clinton foundation or the Russian nuclear deal including $130 million Russian donations to her Foundation or the $500K Bill got for a speech in Moscow shortly before that deal closed.
Because all of this BS has been thoroughly debunked as nothing more than a crackpot conspiracy theory. Next, I supposed you're going to try and tell us about the child prostitution ring she ran out of that pizza joint right?

The Clinton's turned control of their foundation over to someone else when Hillary ran for president to make sure there was no conflict of interest. Trump didn't. In fact, just a few months ago the Trump Foundation had to **** down because of all the crimes it committed being uncovered. The Clinton Foundation meanwhile provides 75% of the AIDS medication to children in Africa with that disease.

So, your analogy compares the right to a kid that " is always doing something stupid or horrible ", and the left to" the kid who is a straight-A student skips 1 class" ? Not to objective.
I think you meant "too" objective, and spelling was the one class I did badly in.

Oh, BTW, there's been more than 1 hate crime hoax.

Let me guess... there were too of them? Yeah, irrelevant... when you're desperately looking for a liberal who lied to invent a crisis you have to look to the deepest darkest depths of the Democratic party. When I'm looking for a Republican who has done that I can just point to the guy that you all chose to vote into power.

There are some crazy people in both parties, but while they exist in the Democratic party they are in control of the Republican party.

Those of us here in NC know about ballot harvesting a good deal. Mark Harris is a well known name here for a reason. Want to guess which Party he's in?
We, here in California saw it on a grand scale, wanna guess which party the harvesters were from? Got anything else?

Has the left leaning media, hollywood celebrities and political leaders overstepped in their rush to judge in cases like the Covington Catholic School students and the Jussie Smollett incendents?

yes

No

They have overstepped in the eyes of anybody with intellectual honesty and integrity. Alas, too many on the left have buried those attributes in favor of hyper-partisanship, ideology, and destroying anybody who doesn't parrot their assigned talking points of the day. So they quickly detract, divert, ignore, sweep under the rug, or defend anything that looks embarrassing on their side of the aisle.

So Jussie Smollett got caught in what was 99.99% certainly a staged hate crime for the purpose of promoting a false narrative to condemn the President and his followers and most likely to further his own career. But because he was promoting the narrative, that justifies what he did. The Covington students deserved all the vilification thrown at them because they certainly were guilty of that in their hearts and elsewhere.

For after all, President Trump and his followers are:

Deplorable
Hateful
Nazis
Fascists
White Supremacists
Racist
Sexist
Xenophobic
Fear brown people
Islamophobic
Homophobic
Christian sharia
Basement dwellers
Birthers
Misogynistic
Teabaggers
Greedy
Uncaring
Want to violate every person's bedroom and every woman's womb
Smelly Walmart people
Low information
Uneducated
Clinging to their guns and religion
and white women vote according to how their husbands, bosses, sons tell them to vote.

Did I miss anything?

So of course Jussie et al are justified in what they do however much of a lie it is because Trump and/or those who are not radical progressives deserve it.

And you can't reason with people or easily counter the hatred they put out there when they characterize a "Make American Great Again" slogan or insignia as representative of that list up there.

The radical left overstepping? Yeah. More like a full scale frontal assault to destroy everything that is good, reasonable, and noble in America.
