Too simplistic. Some lost and some gained. I am better off that Trump beat Hillary. Others might not be.
 
Economically the country is much better off since Trump has been in office. America wins.

America lost...but not because Trump won. Rather, because of the actions of the losers.
 
Trump pisses on the Constitution daily. Those who criticized Obama for abuse of power regarding Executive Orders, but are silent on Trump as he declares a fake emergency to get funds that Congress won't agree to fund are flaming hypocrites. Let's see he ****s on the 1st amendment daily. Is a conspiracy theorist who questioned the last President's citizenship because of his skin color. Has said that he would just confiscate the guns and then go through due process later. Wishes you could just deport people who look Mexican without due process. Has humiliated us in front of one of our oldest alliances that has kept world peace since WW2. Strengthened Russia. Undermined trust in our countries top law enforcement and intelligence agencies and made a complete mockery of the Presidency. Complete and total loss for America. Congratulations America you chose a bumbling, historically illiterate, brain dead President who's idea of policy is what did Sean Hannity say against the Democrats last night? Yeah, let's do that.

So far america has lost, the political system has lost and what little integrity it had is even smaller . . .

to be fair ask again when he is done, 2 years after he is gone and 4 years after he is gone but I seriously doubt anything changes . .it seems like its going to get worse before it gets better

So if Trump does loose in 2020 and we get a democratic socialist and in a few years they ruin the prospering economy and raise taxes, spend too much and the unemployment goes back to 5-6 -7 %, blacks and hispanics and women at larger unemployed numbers, the debt rises by 4-6 Trillion more. I guess you guys will be happy.
 
From the beginning, I have believed that Donald Trump is mentally unfit to carry out the duties of office. The only change I have seen is that his condition has worsened and for reasons I cannot fathom the GOP leadership has continued to cover for a president who is not only inept but is also ignorant and possibly compromised by a life of immorality and criminality. I say this as a person who has never been accused of being moral.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw parties. Trump's severe mental challenges prevent him from comprehending that. Trump's GOP supporters, for the most part, should know better.

Donald Trump didn't make America better - and he will not. In fact, he cannot. Everyone who has willfully associated with Trump has witnessed their lives going to hell, or they soon will.

1.) nah its not lost, its just in bad shape on the surface
2.) its the nutters that are full of hate not normal people and Trump is fuel to their fire. Overall with his departure things in that department (hate/empowered nutters) will get better.

Trying to figure out how to vote on this. You second comment above shows how America lost with the DOJ and how it became utterly corrupt and full of political hacks that tried their best to oust the duly elected President. So many have been fired and/or demoted, but I don't think the rooting out of the corruption has come to an end yet.

Further, the left utterly lost it's mind, after Trump got elected. They've done much damage to normal governmental operations and civil society.

So, in a sense, America has lost with Trump being elected but not due to the actions of Trump so I can't decide on whether to pick True or False.

False, for reasons I've stated over and over. People are working, jobs are being created, wages are rising. Watching the left respond to Trump's tweets is better than Netflix.

The economy is riding Obama's recovery

Trump injected a trillion dollars of borrowed economic stimulus into the economy and gave corporations and the rich a huge tax cut. GDP growth for 2018 only 3%. You would expect more.

Trump's economy is not so great in reality. Stock market for 2018. For the year the S&P 500 fell 6.2%, the Dow dropped 5.6% and the Nasdaq Composite posted a 3.9% decline, the biggest yearly fall for all three in a decade.

The Fed is in a quandary. Need to raise rates and clear their balance sheet but each time thay make a move stock market crashes.

Deficit spending in this period of growth of a trillion dollars a year is increasing the federal debt at an unsustainable rate.

Trump's tariff war with China is hurting American businesses and adding to the uncertainty of global markets.

Remember full employment always proceeds a recession.

Recession signs are everywhere.

A great quote, but one that can't be used in all cases. One key would be the phrase, "Worthy Cause." Another would be whether one is actually sincere in striving for that worthy cause, and yet one more would be with what degree of competence did that person strive for that goal?

As an example, take the cause of Health Insurance for everybody regardless of ability to pay. That sounds like a 'Worthy Cause' to me. It is something that was promised by the current occupant of the white house. Now it appears like that is a promise he isn't going to be able to deliver on. I am left to examine how sincere he was in proclaiming that goal and whether he pursued it with a degree of competence that I should expect from the holder of such an office. Personally I find him deficient on both counts. Someone who approaches healthcare in the US from as hopelessly naive a position as he had (no one knew it was so complicated) and who couldn't follow through on the 'replace' part of the strategy with even a basic plan for the wild promise made strikes me as neither sincere, nor competent.

As such, he doesn't get to hide behind the words of a great President to shield himself from criticism. TR would have no patience for someone making wild promises they had neither the intention or aptitude to even dream of keeping, regardless of whether they were 'in the arena' or not.

What did we lose? You anti-Trumpers have really been getting desperate lately. I think it must have sunk in to you that the Mueller investigation isn't going to get Trump.
