Move to Mexico

Should we encourage the unemployed and homeless to move to Mexico...?

Won't happen; getting citizenship in Mexico is very difficult.

Not if they just cross the border... and when they do they can exchange ID's with the illegal Mexican Hordes...

So how are you going to relocate your homeless from New Zealand to Mexico ;)

We don't have that many... Kiwi social programs are far superior to those in the States...

1. On a serious note, you are one of the most fortunate human beings on earth to be able to live in New Zealand.

2. I hear that it is a beautiful and peaceful country, and -- as you say -- has very nice social programs.

a. I hope that the government works hard to keep the country just as it is.

(Every day I listen to the karaoke version of Bic Runga's song "Sway." For some reason, it really resonates with me.)

Best wishes

I love it here and plan to stay. So different from Southern California...

Only if they're here illegally.

Wrong because we are discussing unskilled and unemployed people, in addition to the homeless... they are nowhere near retiring as they have no income nor savings.

So you admit they come here because Americans want to employ them. Why aren't the Americans to blame then?

Should we not simply encourage our unemployed and homeless to move to Mexico? Mexico has a massive shortage of under-skilled and untrained workers since they are all invading the United States... Just do a trade.

To be honest, I haven't the foggiest clue as to whether or not to take you seriously.

I never admitted anything of the sort... this is like an NBA trade. We get people who want to be on our team and we get rid of the slackers sitting down at the end of the bench that don't contribute...

Nah, honestly, I'd rather have the undocumented workers instead of a bunch of slack-jawed rednecks who think that they are better than others, based on the color of their skin.
