Would You Ever Vote AOC For President?

Would You Ever Vote AOC For President?

The reason Trump won key states is because districts that went for Obama twice, voted for Trump. But hey, if you want to call Obama voters ignorant, thats your business. But maybe in the future, you might run a candidate that actually cares about the middle class and you can get your voters back. But in the mean time, please continue calling Americans stupid, thats a great way to keep trump in office until 2025.

Yes. Districts that had shown highly informed voter activity in 2008 and 2012 by electing Barack Obama turned to low information districts in 2016. Sometimes, as the 2016 election proved, dumb will win the day.

Fat Donald has sold you a phony bill of goods if you believe he "really cares about the middle class" because he doesn't, at least not any farther than they can line his pockets with gold.

If you are concerned with folks calling Americans names you should go to a MAGA rally and hold up a sign telling Donny to stop calling Americans names, else we all might just think "gee, what partisan hypocrisy?"

So, you say that everyone who did not want to vote for crooked Hillary or was tired of the status quo, establishments and political dynasties, was low information?

No.

Just all the politically ignorant low information folks who did vote for the POS president we currently have.

Right. People who were brilliant when they voted in 2008 and 2012 were uninformed dopes when they voted in 2016. Sure.

Yes, she is of age (in this hypothetical). This is a generic question. No opponents are named. This is just a question of would you ever vote her president or not.

Absolutely.

I don't agree with every facet of the Green New Deal, and I personally think she needs more time to become seasoned and learn her job and the political rote and mechanisms of Washington, but she would make a fine Madam President; perhaps one of the best this country has ever seen after some years of experience. In a country that has become almost intractably mired in pay to play de facto plutocracy and rule of the rich, count me in for a hot, incorruptible Latina FDR firebrand to take up Bernie's torch and upend that miserable cesspool any day.

Well then, I guess since Trump won the vote for president 306 - 232 then that was even more resounding at 57% to 43%. You guys got your asses kicked.

Only because of the poor way the Electoral College is structured does those numbers look so "resounding". But yeah we were spanked there. I have never denied that, unlike our idiot president who did and some of his followers who do continue to deny the Popular Vote totals.

Like I have often said, sometimes dumb wins the day, as it surely did in the 2016 presidential election.

I can live with it. The pendulum will swing, and smart will make a comeback in the near future, when a Democrat is once more elected.

Trump's victory was resounding.

lol...mmmkay, well you just keep winning your popular vote while the rest of the nation votes for President. Worked out well for you so far.

I have never intimated it worked out well for me.

The Electoral College chose the president, they could have chosen Hillary, but they went with dumb, and chose Trump. Oh, for the record, the members of the Electoral College are not US Constitutionally bound to choosing a president based on any state rules.

They could defy norms in their choosing.

do you claim he is the worst ever (based on what you knew in November 2016) because of his personal qualities or because of his political agenda?

I knew he would be the worst choice ever for president back in 2005 when I got DTV and became an avid Fox News consumer, that learned opinion never changed in all the years I watched Fox News avidly, until I got rid of the service in 2011.

Nothing I further learned of him from 2011 to election day in November of 2016 did anything but further convince me he would be the worst choice and worst president in my lifetime if not in our entire history.

His plethora of character flaws were ever present, his ignorance of how our government works was starkly revealed, and his dishonesty was already legend.

I suspect his policies are far more the motivation for your dislike.

Ever? Yes absolutely lol.

Now? Depends on who she's running against. I think a lot of people would vote for her if she was running against a genocidal maniac, for example.

Take note. If you don't like AOC, this is the way to properly say so:

Not this:

shrug...

Have you tasted her coffee? I haven't.

Was that supposed to be innuendo? If it was, it fell flatter than a pancake.

At the current moment no, since she has no experience. So it would have to depend on how she does and how her career progresses from her current role.

Yes, but only to give the people who are irrationally obsessed with AOC a massive aneurysm.

Interesting-I wonder if the people who get upset when some of us say a good reason to vote to re-elect Trump is what it will do to the TDS crowd-will be upset with this comment?

I would have to know far more about her foreign policy beliefs before I would consider voting for her.

No not at a federal level, but 29 states control the vote. Secondly where did I say electorals HAD to vote a certain way? Please cite my post.

How the heck can any responsible and/or sagacious person today, and with any measure of reliability, answer the poll question by ticking either option besides "other?" The woman is minimally some six years away from even being eligible to assume the presidency.

What the question shows is ideology. Those who reject her today do so on purely ideological grounds, which is the knee jerk nature of the right. "If it smells like liberalism it much be socialism, lets kill it'
