I mostly listened to it as I did other things around the house with the TV on. While I liked his push for unity, togetherness, collaboration and cooperation he kinda killed it with this one threat:

"If there is going to be peace and legislation, there cannot be war and investigation.

Are you insinuating they weren't Americans? I know some of your people watched from Mexico.

The 'shoe on the other foot' would be a poll saying Trump's speech sucked.

I didn't watch it. Just listened to Shapiro's commentary.

No, but there's nothing wrong with coming from Madison. Education is good in Madison. You could have benefited from a little more education. Then maybe you wouldn't jump to ignorant conclusions when you read statistics.

    Toodles.

So you don't consider those who voted in the poll to be Americans?

BTW: Madison is the Communist heartland of Wisconsin. Any *education there is simply indoctrination.

Again you use the term 'most'....I would say all the people who have gained employment since Trump would disagree with you. I would say all the people who have seen their 401K and retirement income portfolio increase due to the raising stock market investments would also disagree with you.

But wait... I said all the above without one single insult like you 'gray matter' comment.
    1. 53% of American voters believe Trump is not fit for the job. That is not a job approval number, that is the percentage of Americans that believe he can't do the job.

    2. 57% of America say they certainly will not vote for Trump. That is not a poll of previous voters, its a poll of voters.

    3. Trump failed to garner an endorsement from a single major US newspaper when he ran for office. That is an unprecedented fact. Some of America's most conservative newspapers, that had not failed to make a Republican endorsement in two generations, failed to do so in 2016 citing that Trump was unfit for office (see #1)

    4. Trump's job approval numbers have never been north of 45% and have averaged about 40% recently. While a majority of American's think he is unfit for office, a larger number of Americans think he is doing a bad job.

Sorry pal, but if one looks at all the overwhelming evidence against the competency of the Trump presidency, not to mention that Trump is currently a subject or target of 17 different investigations....

    https://www.wired.com/story/mueller-...omplete-guide/

.... and can not acknowledge that the majority of Americans feel as they do and not have some understanding of why, I do question their the adequacy of their gray matter. (note that is an "if-then" statement). I hope you understand the distinction between "understanding" and "agreeing". Intelligent people can wrap their heads around the arguments and beliefs of those that believe differently, without actually agreeing with them.

I am not asking people to agree, but those that dismiss those that had have great concerns about Trump's behaviors, actions and general fitness for the job as having Trump derangement syndrome are, in fact, the "deranged" one.

Didn't understand the choice of Stacy Abrams as the speaker for the Dems.
