Here's a poll exploring bigotry.
Pence says criticism of wife’s job at anti-LGBT Christian school is ‘deeply offensive to us’
I apologize in advance if I offend anyone. The ascendancy of Trump along with Pence has been a reason to turn away from the church and swear off the type of religion that has flocked to the alter of Trump and Pence. It seems they can excuse any behavior if they like the policy coming out of this administration. They like the policy and Evangelical Christians are solidly behind Trump. Christian schools can bar who ever they want to bar but they need to see the optics of people on the out side looking in. Sentiment in the US has changed dramatically towards the LGBTQ community in the last decade. Of all people you would think a politician or a politicians wife would understand that not all people see the world as they do. I am happy if they want to be just the representative of Evangelical Christians. They ignore greater numbers of people who believe harsh treatment of anyone isn't right. Some call it arrogance and bigotry. I want leaders who represent all of the people. It is estimated that there are 9 million LGBTQ people in the US. 2.1 million people identify as evangelical Christian. Only 20% of Americans attend church regularly.
