When Mueller presents his report to the AG....

He's releasing his defense now.

His rebuttal to the final report will be no different to the rebuttals he's been offering up regularly. "Not crimes." "Witch hunt." "Mueller and his 12 angry Democrats." "Deep state." "WhataboutClinton." "Lyin' Comey." Etc.
That's a response to media stories. A defence requires knowing all the facts of the case and a clear direct charge against you with a full reasoning. You can't make a defence without the facts and case made so you have no idea his defence. We/he is missing too many facts and you know an actual charge(s). Oh but that is right you just think he is guilty and knowns what he has done. That is why your postion is so biased. There is a reason we assume innocence not guilt. It is our human instinct to witch hunt, we must check and balance ourselves.

IMO, the AG should hold the Mueller report and let the Trump administration create a rebuttal, and then both reports should be released to the public at the same time.

Well, I can't delete it so there is no poll.

So we try it without the poll.

Sure, why not!!

Those are run of the mill responses to the regular court filings by the DOJ. Trump doesn’t have legal responses or innocent explanations for questionable behavior. He just throws out attacks on the investigators, and that’s how it’s going to be when the final report is released.

Red:
I suspect, given that there are counterintelligence aspects to Mueller's investigation, that there will material pieces of information in his final report that weren't disclosed to the public and that won't be. To wit:
  • Multiple sentencing documents Mueller has submitted have had redacted from public view material portions.
  • We have yet to be told why Gen. Flynn lied about his interactions with Russian officials, even though we know he knew (the man served as the director of the DIA, for God's sake) his interactions (calls) were being intercepted and recorded.
  • Maria Butina, who has now admitted to being an an anti-US-interests agent of Russian gov't, attested to receiving her funding from a Russian oligarch. The only good reason for that routing of monies is to obscure the Russian gov't's role.
  • Several of Mueller's indictees are Russian GRU, intelligence officers.
No matter who receives the full and final report, the general public almost certainly won't receive an unredacted version of it.

Unless President Trump declassifies the whole shootin match.

The only thing the DOJ will release to the public is a summary of the report. You know...classified info and all that.

I don't think Trump should bother with a rebuttal. If the report is damaging, the only ones interested will be Congress. If the House wants to take action, that'll be the time for any rebuttal.

You are probably correct. But my guess is Trump will tweet a rebuttal.

Trump is so predictable. We already know what his rebuttal will be. OH I heard he was telling Devin Nunes to write a 87 Page report with just blocks of the word WITCH HUNT in it. Then he will direct his supporters to find the secret message.

Hungary's Viktor Orban has Chuck Norris, Vlad Putin has Steven Seagal.
It's starting to look like Donald Trump might be a third wheel.
Maybe Kazakhstan will take him.
What's Borat doing these days?

I heard Professor Dershowitz make the exact same suggestion

You're THIS CLOSE to understanding why you don't make a conman with a history of fraud and serial lying who refuses to release his tax returns the President of your nation.

He sure was better than the alternative for many people. You seem to pretend that Hillary and Trump would give us the same policies and the same judges.

I think the accused should always be entitled to a rebuttal.

Personally, I hope the democrats go for impeachment. That will end it and they will lost their entire identity as a party.

True. Democrats would be fools to go that route. Let the hearings produce info (assuming that is the case) of the extraordinary corruption of this administration. Then pass laws, if appropriate, to address the problems exposed. My impression is that we will see evidence of the fraud that was the Trump University on steroids, and that exposing it will benefit both political parties. The democrats will gain some power. The GOP will learn not to trade integrity for political advantage.

I wonder what Charles Manson's rebuttal would have said.

you consider Trump and Manson to be equivalent or is that just trolling?

How are they going to pass laws with the GOP holding the senate and the White House?

Depending on what is exposed about Trump corruption, assuming there is convincing evidence, the GOP will go along with reforms. Ultimately, Trump was an invasive species in the GOP garden. They will uproot him when no longer useful.

I agree-probably around January 20th, 2025

Law to address what problems, exactly?

that's true with almost every politician. Try harder

We're comparing Trump VS Manson. Not politicians VS Manson.

Trump's followers often accused of being in a cult.
Rich people have joined Trump's cult and think he's a god.

I can go on...

probably the biggest problem Democrats have now=the electoral college!

that's just terminal TDS nonsense. We get you hate Trump

I have yet to hear anyone call Trump a God and I can guarantee I know far more rich Trump voters than you do

Manson was more intelligent, and by far more honest...

Sadly you won't get a chance to vote for him-no matter how much you would have liked to.
