And with all due respect, phattonez, I believe you are utterly wrong on this point, and I believe you are swallowing anti-Jewish conspiracy theories hook, line, and sinker. AIPAC's whole raison d'être is that America benefits from strong ties with Israel, and Israel in turn certainly benefits from the support of America. It is something that I happen to believe as a red-blooded American who is unabashedly proud of our nation, and also very pro-Israel. People can strongly believe in supporting allies without caring solely about those allies.

Who's 'them'? I'm an individual who holds my own political views, apart from any hive that I'm supposedly a part of. I go to ethnic restaurants, listen to non-white musicians, and have dated minority women. I'm a model citizen Hatuey when it comes to diversity, and it's time you recognized that fact.

I voted yes but am beginning to think I want to revote to "other". Mueller should be investigating this to see if there are any ties in this organization to foreign countries. If it is found that any other countries are involved then I change my vote back to yes and that Mueller should issue indictments. Where is Mueller when you need him? He must be busy doing something else. Guess the left only care about going after Trump.

The pro-Israel lobby does manipulate Americans into working on their behalf in order to influence other countries. That's idea was part of the General Michael Flynn scandal: Jared Kushner approached Flynn on behalf of the Israeli lobby, which itself was acting at the request of Benjamin Netanyahu. Kushner wanted Flynn to talk to Russian diplomats, in order to secure a positive vote in the UN General Assembly in a matter related to Israel. This illustrates the way in which foreign actors infiltrate powerful positions within government, by using Americans.

They didn't spy on Americans in order to steal classified information. They weren't caught on wiretapped phone calls bragging about being so powerful as to have veto authority over the President of the United States when it came to candidates for Sec of State.

As to your comments about NORAID, you were wrong of course. The court case wasn't about smuggling arms, and that allegation was never a part of the Justice Department's argument. It also was was never proven, as it would have been enough to ban NORAID from operating within the USA period.

This thread isn't about my personal gripes against Trump's 2 years in office. I commented on a thread last night, where discussing Trump's performance is a major part of the topic. Go look for it, it includes Tucker Carlson in the title.

The fact is that Kushner was the impetus behind Flynn's contact with the Russian ambassador. Very few media sources (including NYT) are willing to admit that the attempt to paint Flynn as a traitor because of his meetings with Russian diplomats started because of Kushners ties to Israel. They've omitted that crucial little fact every time they retell the Flynn story.
