Just wondering what is going on around the country. Any returns trickling in yet? Stories to tell?

Won’t be anything until 1800EST. Exit polls were done away with a few years back, anything you hear is supposed to be a guess until then.

I have a story but I'm gonna wait for a less ridiculous thread.

it was the first time that i have ever seen a line that long, and i went at 6:07 AM just after the polls opened. granted, i used to vote in a more rural area, but still, there were a lot of people there for that time of day. my guess is that turnout is going to be considerable.

All of the pools close after Labor Day in Virginia, so I can't imagine how anyone could vote here. I mean, talk about voter suppression...

WE got to ours about 25 min early, we're 6 and 7 in line, by the time we got out it stretched out the building.

had i gotten there fifteen minutes later, i would have been looking at more than an hour of waiting. the line snaked around a considerable part of the first floor. then i got to the room, and there was a roller coaster line in there, too. glad that you guys got there early enough.

Still have more than an hour to go in AZ. This morning was crazy busy in mi precinct. Not so much just before lunch in a more central precinct.

One thing we know for sure, Republicans are going to declare 50+ seats in the senate to be an overwhelming victory and absolution for Trumpism, regardless of other results.
