Before 2016, I often voted straight R. This year it's straight D. I'll be doing that for the foreseeable future.
Hubby canceled some but not all of my votes. I thought he would join me in voting for the D for governor, but instead he went independent. He used to say he wouldn't waste his vote on third party and that was his excuse for voting for even repugnant Republicans such as Trump. But this year, while he defected partly from the R's, he just couldn't go all the way over to D for most.
Give him time. The more Trump and his goons in the GOP urinate all over the nation, the chances of him voting D increase. Then again, hopefully the Dems win at least the house tonight, which can at least somewhat slow Trump and his thugs down.
