You have not "debunked" anything.
1. You ignored the fact that the Mexican authorities did not try to disperse the mob at the bridge gate, instead allowing the Hondurans to push the (not very solid) fence open and rush in. All it would have taken (from what I saw) would have been liberal use of tear gas, water cannons, and flashbangs and the people would have fled back across the bridge.
2. I KNEW I should have left the comment I made about what caused China's wall to fail, because I KNEW you were going to cite the Mongols. The Great wall has been around since 206 BC, and the Mongol Invasion occurred in 1279...so we are talking about a Wall that was fairly effective for 1500 years. :roll:
The main problem was that the Great Wall had edges and the horse riding Mongols could move faster than foot-marching Chinese armies.
