So...you are taking the second option. Okay...your choice.

Really? You can easily look at the option I picked. It's the first option. These were not rouge killers.
Do you actually have an comprehensible opinion on this or are you just a coward who won't answer???

Sorry, but just because some Turkish guy says he heard an audio recording and talks about what he heard doesn't make it a fact.

Get back to me when the recording is publicly available.

Why? You'll just deny reality and claim it was magically doctored.

This is clearly a hit-piece that fumbles to discredit this man on the bases that:

1. He's not a journalist.

. While he was once a journalist for several state-controlled Gulf media enterprises, Khashoggi has not been anything resembling a journalist for quite some time.

Prior to his disappearance, Khashoggi was an opinion writer for the Washington Post’s “Global Opinions” section.

So he was an opinion-piece writer. It's not like the Saudi government is known for murdering people with opinions. It's not like it isn't a nation that considers atheism to be terrorism. It's not like it's a theocracy that inherently holds freedom-of-speech and freedom-in-general in contempt.

But let's keep talking about how Kashoggi wasn't a journalist because what he wrote are opinions.

2. He was . . . working with Islamists to create a pro-Democracy organization? Bwah?!

He was also working with Islamists tied to the Muslim Brotherhood to create an organization called Democracy in the Arab World Now (DAWN)

This is just insane. The article doesn't even try to address the apparent contradiction of working with radicals to promote a pro-democracy organization. The article could have tried to claim that the name of the organization is a facade, but it didn't even go that far.

LOL So the "truth" is that JK was not a journalist and they prove it by citing multiple pieces that he wrote and were published by news media. His "sin" was being an Arab supporting the Palestinian cause and that justifies his murder. The irony is strong since before Trump the U.S had similar concerns.

LOL!!

Focus, dude. I'm not referring to the OP's options. I'm talking about MY two options for people like you.

Or, we can just take the easy way out. Listen to all the rumors, filter them through whatever political bias we have and then come up with an opinion.

Or, we can take the much easier way out. Listen to all the talking potato heads in the multimedia who have done all that hard work and just go with THEIR opinion.

I'm not going to not listen to the MSM when there's not even the slightest theory from the other side even out there. Give me something to work with and maybe I'll agree. Highly unlikely, but you aren't even trying to come up with anything else.

Oh. So now you want ME to tell you the facts? Maybe you'll agree with me?

You do realize that I rejected ALL of the OP's choices because I DON'T have any facts.

You aren't making any sense here, you know.

Haven't you heard ? The Saudi's forcefully deny they had anything to do with it and Trump believes them just like he believes Kavanaugh's denial of sexual assault. That is the "other side". Forget the evidence, Trumpism is a religion and you have to have "faith".

So you believe the Saudi's denial, right? That is a fact isn't it?

If you can't even come up with your own theory, like you claim you do every other day about everything else. Then you have simply refused to look at any of the available evidence, (which proves my original point) b/c you believe the King and the Holy Orange One.

No, I don't believe their denial.

It's not a matter of belief...I'm awaiting facts.

I haven't seen any "available evidence", which means I can't come up with a theory.

I'm not sure what you are referring to when you contend I agree with (I assume your derogatory names refer to Trump. It's your style to use them.) Trump. I'm not aware that he has come to any conclusion for me to agree to. I will say that I agree with Trump when he says we need to investigate and find out the facts.

I haven't seen any "available evidence", which means I can't come up with a theory.

As I said, then you aren't looking for it. There's been countless reports and it's been consistently the top news story on prime-time news channels. Even with other partisan drama. The kashoggi murder has been number one!

Facts from where? There have been plenty of facts reported from Turkey and even video evidence of JK entering the Saudi consulate. You don't believe your own eyes?

I've seen lots of reports. No evidence yet.

The guy isn't even an American.

Facts reported from Turkey? I haven't seen any. Just things people have said.

Numerous news outlets are citing evidence that Jamal Kashoggi entered the Saudi consulate and didn't come back out alive. He has not been seen since. Trump, who has numerous financial and business ties with Saudi interests, believes the Saudi Prince's denial of Kashoggi's murder and is telling people not to rush to conclusions. What do you think?

Options:

1. The Saudi Prince ordered the killing of Jamal Kashoggi.
2. Rogue killers killed Jamal Kashoggi.
3. Jamal Kashoggi is alive and well and watching The Price is Right reruns in Pittsburgh.
4. There is no Jamal Kashoggi/ Jamal Kashoggi is a crisis actor.
5. There is no Istanbul
6. Get over it, libs. Trump won.
7. The external world is unreal, and you're actually a brain in a vat of chemicals being stimulated by a mad scientist to hallucinate the external world.
8. Have you ever really looked at your hands? No, I mean really looked at them. My friend is a jerk. He said that three were fine because they were weak. Oh god my hands are melting. I didn't sign up for this.

my take is that it's incredibly bizarre to watch pro-Trump people go to bat for Saudi Arabia of all countries

Jamal Khashoggi's final article for the Washington Post, received after his death: https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/18/politics/jamal-khashoggi-washington-post-column-intl/index.html

"...In the piece, Khashoggi bemoaned the lack of free expression in the Arab world, leaving the majority of its population "unable to adequately address, much less publicly discuss, matters that affect the region and their day-to-day lives."

He contrasted the current situation with the sentiment felt by many during the Arab Spring, when they hoped to be "emancipated from the hegemony of their governments and the consistent interventions and censorship of information," only to have those expectations dashed as revolutions -- both peaceful and violent -- failed or were crushed by outside intervention...
"

I can't get directly to WaPo because of the pay wall, but anyone interested can read the entire OpEd there.

So what is causing the uproar over this act? That question to that may be more interesting than what happened to this fellow.

This isn't "just" locking up a journalist. This appears to be something that was extremely personal, like something a mafia don would do to a rival crime boss.

So what is causing the uproar over this act?

Because that gentleman wrote for the Washington Post, a member-in-good-standing with the Democratic Resistance.

Democrats are sensing that this is a wonderful chance to embarrass President Trump before the imminent elections.

(Goons are murdering journalists by the dozens in Mexico, but the Democrats -- and, to be fair, the Republicans -- are silent.)

Why make a worthless bogus partisan poll?

Why even go in that building in the first place knowing how they felt about him? Did he have a death wish, or just so naive he just virtually gave himself up? I thought he was smarter than that, being a writer and all.
