I can see the point you're trying to make, partisan as it is, but I don't think Ford wants any more to d with this: her life will never be the same. Kavanaugh has a besmirched reputation now, so anything he says from the bench will be suspect, so Ford was successful in spite of losing her battle. She may however turn around and decide to press charges, who knows, but I think it's just too soon to tell.

she'd be lucky not to get indicted for perjury among other things. She has no chance of getting a conviction against Kavanaugh but the Republican US Attorney in DC can get a perjury conviction against her fairly easily

Actually, whether the SOL has run out or not is disputed. It will depend on if the prosecutor were to charge as a felony or misdemeanor. A felony has no SOL, however a misdemeanor does.

he would have to make an argument that what Kavanaugh did was not juvenile delinquency and merits adult court

given no one she mentioned has backed up her story I doubt anyone with a brain would take the case. and being bound over to adult court normally is based on several factors

most of which involve prior acts of delinquency.

I am just glad this smear campaign failed. I am sick of accusations without evidence. Too many innocent people have already suffered from this kind of nonsense.

I don't follow you?

Sorry, it was sort of a snarky reply to the idea of having a poll of who thinks the Sun would rise as posed by Haymarket, and the clear right of those with good sense to have a laugh at denier's expense. I didn't mean to confuse. Is that better, or should I try to clear it further?
Regards,
CP

thank you for taking the time to explain.

My pleasure, friend. If I write anything that isn't clear, and I sometimes believe I am writing what I am thinking, but it type's it another way. In those instances, please help me by allowing me to explain, if you do see that.
Regards,
CP
