obvious GOP dog and pony show.

if kavanaugh gets confirmed as a supreme court justice then as far as i am concerned the Supreme Court loses all creditability. It will just be another branch of far right politics. a sad day for America.

The problem is FBI management has already shown themselves to be liberal party hacks so the question is do we think the rank and file will do an impartial investigation, I think they will.

The conservative justices use the constitution as their guide and the liberal justices use their agenda, I prefer the constitution.

Right. And since this was not an investigation into criminal intent the FBI probe could be controlled. This whole investigation was simply a pacifier and speaking out against Kavanaugh to be further investigated was just a ruse. Kavanaugh’s behavior was by far the issue in his approval but sadly that was ignored by republicans.

If the FBI investigation doesn't say what one wants to hear, they won't trust it. If the FBI on the other hand comes back with exactly what you wanted to hear, then you trust it. This isn't about the FBI or even what they have to report. If I understand it right, all the FBI is doing is collecting a bunch of statements and handing them over to the senate committee. Pure political.

Bottom line, the FBI report won't change anyone's mind. Pretty much every one has made up their mind about guilt or innocence a long time ago. Guilty if your a Democrat, innocent if your a Republican.
 
Corroborating evidence can't be found if the FBI is directed not to look for it.

Not all- an impartial investigation IMHO was not done.
 
The GOP is using the FBI report for misdirection.

All they have to do is say the FBI report didn't provide any new information and pretend like they didn't have all Kavanaugh's lies from 2005, 2006 and this past month to consider. Just that report. With its lack of interviews with people who could point out the lies Kavanaugh told last week.

"No new information in it. Nothing else to see. Put the ranting conspiracy theorist on the bench."

Simply put, you're not going to satisfy one side while satisfying the other. that includes those who don't want Kavanaugh to state basically what you did. I just wish we lived in saner times, let's say prior to the first use of the nuclear option where it required 60 votes for cloture. Kavanaugh would have been long dead, removed or forced to withdraw or never even nominated. I liked it better when any president knew he had to get some votes from the opposing party or no confirmation.

I suppose it is what it is. One doesn't have to like it either. I doubt Reid didn't know of the can of worms he opened up by setting the precedence of first use of the nuclear option. sanity went out the window. I sure hope his short term political gain was well worth all the idiots this and future presidents will nominate if they control both the white house and senate.

IF the description of the investigation is accurate . . . 9 people talked too . . .40 others ignored . . .Brown nor Kananaugh talked too then no of course not. It would be retarded to trust THAT specific investigation nobody honest and objective would IF those circumstances are true.
 
When it comes to the supreme court they shouldn't use opinions or agenda to make their judicial rulings.
 
The FBI has been compromised. It is no longer an impartial law enforcement organization. IRS is just as bad. Both have acted in a partisan manner against conservatives. Trump would be wise to clean house. The Supreme Court has been filled with partisan members for years; some liberal and some conservative. None of them are "impartial" jurists.
