I will likely vote Republican with a handful of independent exceptions. There is no Democrat running in any race in my state that I can honestly cast a vote for.

I think left and right people should stop demonizing the other party. It does nothing except fuel the "us vs them" mentality.

But yeah, definitely democrat.

Not sure what the actual poll says since they don't show on Tapatalk, but I never vote party. I look at the actual candidates. Something that means the best is Republican, sometimes Democrat, sometimes Green, sometimes Libertarian, and occasionally independent, as the good candidate crops up.

Anyone who casts a vote for a candidate purely on the basis of party affiliation is a moron, and is part of the cause of the partisanship that is politics today.

destruction of constitutional rights as well as
property rights

destruction of traditional values such as Innocent until proven guilty

removal of our borders and national sovereignty

Sorry pal, but sometimes it actually is us versus them. The Republican Party has become a dangerous and destructive organization that has embraced fascism, racism, sexism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, and hatred. To say that they are anything less than evil or morons would be dishonest. Republicans turned this into a gunfight, and bringing a knife will do us no good. Evil must be put in its place. Once it has we can talk all day about nuance and gray areas.

the democrat party is anti american, anti freedom, is willing to destroy the lives of good people so they can grab power and is a malignant creeping crud of collectivism. worst yet, the DNC-as the late David Broder predicted 30 years ago, is trying to balkanize the USA into warring special interest ethnic groups

I usually vote my conscience and will split my ticket if necessary but after the Kavanaugh circus clowncar put on by the Democrats, you couldn't pay me to vote for any of them.

I think a lot of red state Dem candidates are sweating bullets. The smear Kavanaugh campaign the dems dreamed would be a crushing blow is exploding in their faces.

I will agree the Republican Party is a shell of their former self, but they're the only other option, and I don't want to vote Democrat so.

I tend to follow that pattern as well. I compare the candidates positions and policies with my own in priority order and choose the one that comes closest on my top issues even if he/she disagrees with me on lower priority issues. I started out most Dem decades ago, but recently it's most GOP on my top issues.

They used to be a good party but they sold-out, and caved to the far left progressives intent on ruining this country.

Tolerance doesn't mean that you become a doormat. It doesn't mean letting people walk all over you. Tolerance doesn't prevent you from standing up for what is right. When Nazis and Klan members are parading through the streets cheering with exhilaration at the election of the President it's not that hard to figure out who the bad guy is. The Republican party has crossed a line that goes far beyond a simple difference of opinion.
