He just might. He didn’t want the FBI to clear his own name after this imbroglio started. Now, it’s being foisted on him....

There is no chance he withdraws. There is no chance Republicans withdraw him.

The FBI report is all about 4-5 senators and hopes of gaining support of voters the right may be losing in this process.

The vast majority on congress members don't care what is in that report. They don't care about the truth. They are voting party lines 100% no question.
 
If Trump and the Republicans just chill, the FBI will come back with a statement that they couldn't confirm anything and Kavenaugh will be seated.

Can Trump chill for a week?

I doubt the truth will ever be fully known, and It's a certainty it Won't come from any Senate hearings. They're too politically charged for anything like truth to be reached.
 
If the Maryland Democrat AG can find any local judge to issue any warrant solely on Dr. Ford's statement (no defense is allowed at that stage), if Kavanaugh did not withdraw or was not removed this would delay the matter for 6 months pending trial.

The Democrat AG of Maryland has become involved, promising to investigate if anyone asks him to. That would add months of delay.
