IMO, there is a lot of urban legend here.

Never seen one, never ever want to see one. But I'm sure it happens. But if I ever do see something like that going down, I'm calling 911.

Never heard of one, in the least. There were very few girls who were tagged as easy for one partner. I cannot imagine any other reaction than revulsion, if I had encountered/heard of this happening.

Honestly, I witnessed some in high school but they were all consensual.

However my experiences were not preppy boys getting girls smashed but gang members convincing girls they could 'train' them into the gang and have multiple members **** the girl.

If at anytime the girl did not appear to be able to provide adequate consent, I would have done something but those girls were down.

Urban legend, I agree, yet you did not include it as a child choice.......

I have briefly witnessed two gang bangs (NOT gang rapes) and quickly removed myself from the locations. They weren’t in high school or college, though. One was in Army barracks and the other was at a party thrown by embassy personnel (no, I’m not going to say when or where). Again, while it wasn’t my scene, it was consensual.

Group sex and "train sex" is NOT illegal.

BTW, the original meaning of "train sex" by my understanding was a line of gay men, each "inside" the man in front of him. That was the "train." That is why "bath houses" gay men gathered at was a true genocide against those men when AIDS was first spreading. It wasn't just a sex train, it also was an AIDS train - they just didn't know it.

I really do not think it rare that women who as teens or young adults who were highly promiscuous in the free sex era particularly or otherwise in their past try to erase that blaming drugs, alcohol, the boys/men, rape or any other mental excuse or diversion, when men may brag of it - despite the males and females present were REALLY all there for exactly the same reason.

A woman I know was according to her a resident of a free sex co-ed house in which basically everyone had sex with everyone because "sex is natural."

Over the years, how she saw that past changed. First, she got REALLY religious. She blamed it on Satan.

She gave that up rather quickly. Then it became one man had mislead her into thinking she'd get a relationship with him out of it, saying she stopped after realizing he really was more "into" another woman, though had sex with all the women like all the guys and women did.

Then, years later, became "the drugs" and decided that all that year she was being drugged with LSD as the reason.

Finally, she went full circle now being senior aged to just laugh about it as that was just how that era was and is glad she lived in it.

Funny how REALITY and how events are interpreted can change over time.

heard and seen LEGAL consensual gang bangs and group sex in both HS and College :shrug:

Group sex and train sex is legal.

Pre-AIDS in the 60s thru first part of the 80s was the sexual revolution, "free sex" and neither group sex nor train sex rare then - probably not all that rare now.

BTW, originally "train sex" meant a line of gay men, one inside the one in front, thus making the "train." Because of this practice in gay bath houses, AIDS devastated the gay community back in the second half of the 80s and 90s particularly.

The Duke Lacrosse case was the closest I have come. 3 people accused of rape. I assume 3 would be considered a gang.

We know how that turned out.
