I knew what you meant. Politicians are going to play politics and know that they have a better then 90% chance of getting re-elected no matter what. One third are up for re-election very soon but the rest have 2 to 4 years for this mess to fade from memory.

Can you list the years, months, days, seasons, where it happened and who was there (assuming it was at a house party at an unfamiliar house)?

And I would contend those details would stick in the mind of a victim of assault.

For example, I can't remember every time I ever went fishing, but I vividly remember, except for the date, the time I was fishing and got attacked by a pit bull in 1991...more than 25 years ago. But if need be, I can find the date by looking at my medical records. I remember exactly where it happened, exactly how it happened, what I did, what the dog did, what the owner...after he came out of his drug-induced unconscious state...said, etc.

And yet Ford, after experiencing what must be an even MORE traumatic experience doesn't remember jack ****.

No...not very believable, in my opinion.

Don't you think that's an unwarranted request for personal information you have no business asking for? Sounds to me like you are skirting very close to a violation of forum rules.

I can't remember the dates, months, or even the year of some pretty significant things from my high-school days, and I'm not quite as old as Ford or Kavanaugh.

I cannot give you the exact dates. Nope, but I can tell you the months, the year, the season and the location of where I was sexually accosted. One was a rape, the other was attempted rape.
Grant it, I have an excellent memory but so should a 50 year old woman.
 
Ford seems pretty credible to me. The fact that she first revealed this to her therapist in 2012 definitely makes it seem less like some kind of political hit job.

i remember a lot of things that happened back then but i certainly don't remember the date or.even the year

In case you missed it that is what this is all about. It doesn't matter if they were both spoiled rich kids - she is the one that can help the resist, resist, resist folks and he is the one that must have his SCOTUS appointment delayed and/or stopped. Truth has nothing to do with this - its all about identity politics.

I also read that she said she sought medical treatment but there's no record of it anywhere. And if she sought medical treatment, as a 15 minor wouldn't her parents have received the bill?

Like I said above, not much in the way of corroboration.
 
It would appear that the "resist" movement is now engaging in a scorched earth policy. Now that we've given license to going after people pretty much from the time they reach puberty, I shudder to think what's coming next.
