Pointing out this president is a train wreck = Not accepting the election results. By your logic, you were guilty of "not accepting the election results" for 8 years from 2008 to 2016.
 
President Trump will accept only what he chooses to. The realty is that he will represent the GOP in 2020. Let’s say for discussion purposes both houses of Congress flip, impeachment without a conviction will mean very little. Conviction requires a 2/3 vote, the Democrats will not have a 2/3 majority in the Senate. The GOP is not going to convict the President. If anything, he will be emboldened and excoriate the opposition party for trying to decimate his administration.

You’re not mentioning the very real possibility of a primary battle with those like termed-out Gov. Kasich.

That’s a fair point. What will hurt Kaisch are the myrmidons unwilling to break away from The President. The “deplorable” vote matters. HRC learned this the hard way. What better way to galvanize them by challenging Trump in a primary...

Kasich doesn't stand a chance in a primary against Trump. He has about as much of a shot to win a Democratic primary as he does the Republican.

It seems that Democrats actually now understand why they lost. Republicans are the ones who are not seeing a blue wave.

The only people bringing up ‘deploarables’ are trump people. That won’t work against Kasich, who Will get back the Suburban Republican vote. I don’t see the Veteran or Farmer vote going with trump in the primaries either.

Here’s a look at the 2020 primary schedule: Election 2020 - Presidential Primaries, Caucuses, and Conventions click on ‘states chronological’ after that.

Having a President not worrying about re-election, such as the Governor of Virginia, looks like the best way forward in this Century. I’d go with 3-year House terms and one 6-year potus if it was up to me.
 
We have to get through the 2018 election before worrying about 2020.

President Trump won (2016) but the left still can not understand that they lost.
They (Clinton) have tried every excuse in the book to explain what happened.
Trump will surely win if he run in 2020. And today I don't see any reason why he won't.

Assuming he's in office in 2020, and based on current information...probably not?

Unless they make him.

OTOH, maybe he'll leave so he can make a scene forever more about how the election was stolen from him.

Even though he lost by 40 points.

I don't necessarily disagree with that statement. It doesn't change the fact that Kasich would have little chance to win and if he ran would only split the potential votes in a Republican primary that could potentially take away from someone that could potentially win against Trump. Trump was largely helped by having a field of 16 candidates in the primary. He may have still won but had it been a 1 on 1 contest between either Rubio or Cruz against Trump it would have been a much closer race.
 
Don't really have an option that fits in the poll.

Do I think he'll accept it and blame himself if he loses? No. I don't really care if he does either.

Do I think he'll leave office if he loses? Yes.

Do I think he'll run for a 2nd term in 2020? No.

he still does not believe he lost the popular vote, that he is less popular than Obama or that less people turned up at his inauguration compared to Obama's inauguration. He believes millions of illegals are allowed to vote, he believes the press is the enemy of the people (maybe they are the enemy of him because he treats them like the enemy to begin with but he is not "the people".

He believes a lot of nonsense, but he also never believes he does worse than somebody else because he is "the Donald". So no, even if he wins and loses the popular vote he will still not be able to accept that. And if he totally loses it will be a miracle if he graciously accepts defeat. And as graciously does not seem to be part of his vocabulary, I doubt he will do anything graciously. He could not even graciously deal with McCain's death.
 
If a low life like Obama can win a second term Trump will have no problem in 2020
 
Trump will resign sometime in 2019 and use the phony excuse of his health to justify his leaving.

The Mueller report will be devastating and the combination of many revealing investigations by the House will render him a broken shell of a man.

Ive made no wager. You have not "wagered" anything. Im not asking you to wager anything. I made that very clear. I am simply resigning if you are correct. Nothing more. Do you understand? I am so so much more confident than you that I am as a fact resiging from every forum Im on if your statement becomes reality. I am 100% confident in myself.
