I cannot help but think how different 9/11 would be handled with this President. How different our country would be today if Mr. Swampy was President during that time. Depending on the results of this poll. Doesn't that tell you something...

No, I wouldn't have trusted him. He has a history of cocking up everything. What makes anyone think that this would be different?

Didn't he say he saw hundreds of Muslims cheering when the towers went down? Yeah, no. I wouldn't have trusted him.

If I take off my partisanship blinders for a moment, yes. I think Donald Trump, and, more importantly, the Trump administration would have handled 9/11 just fine. I'm not saying that he would have been transformed into the locus of gravitas and some grand unifier by this tragedy around whom we could all unite. But judging by his administration's performance, I do not think it would have been handled any worse than how President George W. Bush handled the issues.

I think President Trump knows how to do a dope deal but am not sure he would come through.]

Tell the Iraqis that when you behave you may have your oil revenue back.

Then pump their oil to pay for the operation and give them as much as bodies not showing up in the morgue and less attacks on our troops.

He's completely immune to the interviewer's explanation of why it couldn't be bombs. Trump carries on like your average conspiracy theorist: as each new claim is shot down, he just moves on to the next one with total ease and the lack of understanding that if his belief was based in reality to any degree, his claims wouldn't be shot down in such rapid-fire succession.

Shanksville is an important 9/11 site. I don't have a problem with it, but it does seem that New York would be a natural fit for him.

If this happened on his watch, it would be so much worse. He's much more incoherent and paranoid these days it would be full on crazy town and the worst part is- he's the commander in chief.

I know the relevance of the location; the crowd is easier to control than in NYC. To say nothing of the cluster**** that Trump’s apprearance would entail.

The US was just attacked. The people were clamoring for retaliation. Our intelligence communities were sure of all the players involved in the 9/11 plot.

I don't think any president wouldn't been able to make rational decisions about the attack. I don't think senators made rational decisions about the attack.

Or Trump would have invaded Iraq, bogged us down there for years and got thousands of American soldiers killed........... Oh, wait, that wasn't Trump. Or maybe he would have kept us involved in a stupid, deadly, insane war with a minor Asian country, costing over 50K American lives and many times that in civilian deaths..........Oh wait, that wasn't Trump........ so far Trump hasn't invaded anybody except maybe a couple of porn stars......
