OK, this is discussed. But this is a poll. Here we dig into things a bit. We learn past events and past experiences.

You will watch a short video. Oh it nibbles at both sides of the equation. Remember now, there have been no hearings. There are accusations, no legal accusations but oh my lord, no hearings.

So you will face a few questions. Please answer. it will give all of you a barometer. We ought to do this again next year.

So, here is the video. Poll has the questions. Please don't skip the video. it just might be that important to you.

I agree with Graham that almost all our elected leaders in Washington are class A hypocrites. There are probably only a handful that aren't. Another example I'll add is the debt ceiling votes. Under G.W. Bush, almost all Republicans voted to raise the debt ceiling, almost all Democrats voted against raising it. Switch presidents, in comes Obama, both parties do an 180. Almost all Republicans now vote against raising it, almost all Democrats vote for raising it. Hypocrites one and all.

As for the poll, I started to vote we don't care either way. But since the question was impeach now or later, that would be a wrong choice. I frankly don't care one way or the other if Trump is impeached or not. Not if he is impeached now or later. It's fine with me if he is, fine if he isn't. I'm not a Trumper nor am I an anti-Trumper. I don't like the man's personality, his character. I'd never vote for him. But like all other presidents before him in my lifetime, he has done some things I like, some I didn't like.

I'd whether have Pence as president anyway. I was totally disgusted with the two major parties choices, nominees back in 2016 that I voted against both. Pence at least acts like an adult, not like some obnoxious, temper tantrum throwing, name calling five year old kid whose parents forgot to teach him any manners. But I can live with him.

As a woman and someone who doesn't care about a person's sexuality and believes in the separation of church and state, Pence is as unacceptable as 45. As head of the transition team he is complicit.

You better hope Trump isn't impeached then. Support the Trumpster to the hilt to avoid a Pence.

Hate to say this but with his beard gone Graham is back to sucking up to the very people who'd denounce him . A useful idiot for the right as long as there is a R after SC.

As I've said before, vote and let the process prevail.

Yeah, what happens, happens. There isn't anything anyone on this site can do about it one way or the other.

For Graham, it’s all about finishing McConnell’s Stolen Federal Judiciary since Clinton’s last two years. Graham’s flip-flop on Sessions — as phony as it gets —

The 1974 GOP pulled the plug on Nixon to mitigate election losses. McConnell can’t with this base. It looks to me like Mitch and Chuck have struck a 2019 deal, since Chuck gave him a big win on the calendar 📆 with Judges.

By Nov. 2020, Pence/Kasich will be awfully tough to beat. DEMs always lose to McConnell.

Trump is unfit for office. There is no way, no way, however, Trump's very swampy Cabinet will impose the 25th Amendment.

As for impeachment there is no way in hell the GOP would impeach Trump unless they were forced to upon public revelations of his felonious conduct.

I voted to whine and leave him in office. VP "Lodestar" Pence would be worse for America than Trump. Pence is a dominionist. He is convinced that God has chosen him to become president. Pence in the White House would be the Handmaiden's Tale come true for all of America.

America's best hope is for the Democrats to win one or preferably both houses of Congress in November.

Publicly, very few (as in I haven't heard a one) elected democrats have even mentioned impeachment. But boy-howdy, elected republicans can't seem to talk about anything else! Even Trump carries on about impeachment.

For myself, if what the public already knows is accurate, Trump is definitely indictable on Obstruction charges; his "corrupt intent" can be proven by his own words, over and over and over again, on film and in his own tweets, and god only knows what witnesses have told under oath to Mueller over the past year.

Conspiracy with a foreign government has not been established by publicly-available knowledge; however, I strongly suspect that Mueller has much, much more than "publicly-available knowledge".

Those are two counts I would expect to see in Mueller's report.

Thing is, I suspect that by the time Mueller ties up Trump's long-term relationship with Russia and Russian money, Trump and others in Trump Org may be indictable on numerous charges, including lord knows how many counts of money laundering and enterprise corruption. Don't forget, Weiselberg knows where every dollar came from, and where every dollar went.

Whether the gutless congress impeaches or not, Trump will be facing indictment the moment he steps out of office. Of that I am certain. The con-man's con is definitely over.

I’d like to disagree. Debate Politics is picked up across the Nation, filters out, trickles down, and coordinates. Both parties, this will be a record turnout for mid-terms, as it should have always been.

Imagine our forefathers hearing that less than one in five young people voted 🗳 in 2016. What a disgrace to every American Soldier who has paid the ultimate price, as well as to all Veterans.

Perot didn’t build his third party ground up. The next 3rd party, such as led by an Evan McMullin, needs a few billionaires. My ultimate hunch is that it is the ‘reformed’ Kochs, and Progressive Conservatism.

I would say that America’s best hope is the other Bob, Mueller. We’ll see if Republicans keep their word on Mueller. We know they won’t protect him.

We also know that a kavanaugh court could very well sit on the Mueller Report. DEMs can’t impeach without Mueller, and imho shouldn’t even then. Let McConnell cry 😢 Uncle .

The last thing DEMs need to do is make Republicans martyrs, since GOPs play that card so well. The first to leave trumpland will be the first to come back to Penceland, with Kasich, both smooth enough for Suburbanites.

The most resistant to leave #45 will be the most resistant to come back; the ones really pissed and hurt by trump, who they supported.

True, but he'd give our allies some peace of mind and conduct himself as a grown up in public. I'd never vote for the man, but compared to Trump, he'd be a relief.

If pulling the plug on Nixon in 1974 was to mitigate election losses, it sure didn't work. The GOP lost 49 house seats and 5 senate seats. I fully expect the Republicans to lose 35 this time around with the possibility of more in the house. The senate, perhaps keeping the status quo which in my opinion would be a big win for the Democrats anyway. Considering they have 26 seats to defend vs. 9 for the GOP. Even taking the senate is a possibility even with those numbers.

2020 is way too far off to speculate. It all depends on the candidates and what is happening in the world at that time. It doesn't take much to set an election on its ear.

True on Perot. Most folks on active duty don't vote although there are several programs in place to get them to vote. They're not very political or even partisan. It's the retirees or older veterans who do vote. It's always been that way.

I was always happy to sit back and watch independents grow from 30% up to close to 45% today as more and more Americans deserted the two major parties. I'm having second thoughts about those desertions now. What we have done, I include myself there is leave the two major parties in the hands of the hard core extremist, both left and right where we get nominees like Trump vs. Clinton and my two governor nominees here in Georgia.

There's no moderation or moderating influence left in the two major parties. Both have tossed middle America, those in the center, center left and right out. Both are happy to be rid of the moderates who could work across the aisle, compromise, play give and take, moderate legislation to suit the country. Neither party wants to move back away from the the far reaches of the left and right. Let's face it, unless a viable third party does arise, we're left with the choices the two parties put forth. Both know that even if America doesn't want either choice or nominee, we're forced to choose one or the other. Hence the problems we have today. The gridlock, the polarization, the ultra extreme partisanship. The putting of the political party high above country.

Obama coming back fills the vacuum void of Leadership, at a Necessary time. It’s Repubs talking of Impeachment, not DEMs. We all know this Nixon distraction card.

1974 would have been Far Worse for those ‘honorable’ GOPs WITH Nixon. They knew it. That Supreme Court voted 8-0 America. This one will vote 4-5.

Obama and Holder are doing the 2021 redistricting project (ten years late — Loss of 946 state seats for BHO) I see the House as a catastrophe for GOPs. I’ll go 80 seats right now, close to 2/3.

Behind on governors. Remember when everyone laughed at me on O’Rourke last year? TN, AZ, NV — sure they’re on the table — MS could be with a major event — Southerners don’t like trump calling them ‘retarded’ and ‘dumb southerners — DEMs later —

An old hunch is still out there, in tariff-ravished Nebraska. Sen. Fischer is in play, imho.

"Get full information?" Legally speaking we have enough information to charge Donald Trump with a federal felony were he not the President. Unfortunately, the DoJ has an active policy of not investigating sitting Presidents. Therefore the responsibility for holding the President accountable lies with the Senate and Congress (impeachment). Unfortunately, Congressional Republicans these days are so cowardly and feckless that they're willing to put the well-being of the Republic at risk so long as they can push their nonsensical billionaire-fellating agendas through.

I’ll keep speaking of that 3rd party we need from my POV, the Progressive Conservatism of Lincoln, Teddy, and IKE. I see every Real Issue as an Infrastructure.

We'll see. I do have Nevada and Arizona going to the Dems, Tennessee is a pure toss up, but leans GOP. Heitkamp is in Trouble up in North Dakota as is Donnelly in Indiana. Florida is another pure toss up. Montana, Missouri, West Virginia lean Democratic for the time being. The wildcard in some of these really close races could be on those Dems in deep red states that vote no on Kavanough. Depends on how many are paying attention though. I seen some actions like this that get described as game changes which hardly ever turnout out to be.

Hyde-Smith in Mississippi will go to a runoff due to the jungle primary on election day. But she'll win that easily.

Bingo! We all continue to hear "impeachment" but it is isn't something elected Democrats are talking about very much at all. GOP elected officials? Yes. We hear it often from the GOP. Impeachment fits well into "Vote GOP or black, brown, educated elitist, atheist, lesbian, deep state, illegal immigrants will terrorize you and your grandmother. If Trump is impeached who will keep us safe?".

The brutal truth we must face is that Trump will not be abandoned by Trump's evangelical Nazi base. Morals and ethics hold no sway in the GOP. Trump will indeed have to be outed for massively obvious and unassailable charges involving money, Russians, conspiracy. Even then I'm not certain it would matter.

Have you considered writing fiction for a living? Your whole premise...no, your whole post is nothing more than a smear. WE have the right President at the right time(see, I didn't have to write that democratic leadership is nuts!)
