Duh. Just like if Kagan said she would recuse herself of anything and everything related to Obama or his family her nomination would have been pulled by the end of the day.

Uh yeah how many investigations were going on about Obama?? How many indictments?? How many guilty pleas??
Pappadopoulas(sp) plead guilty and was sentenced today. Michael Cohen is flipping - Manafort is considering.
You really want to say again how dirty the Obama administration was??

Bork sabotaged himself with Nixon.

then why was he seated on the DC court with no opposition. It was the "abortion is the most important right/rite" hysterics who caused it.

One thing we know he didn't have was any compassion for the father of a deceased daughter.I'm sure his own daughters witnessed his actions and most likely thought twice about his integrity,or lack thereof.

so following the law is secondary to "having compassion"? Why don't you explain the case, the facts, the precedent and then educate us why the decision was clearly wrong.

We are talking about the video which shows him turning his back on the father of the Parkland's deceased daughter, not any legal decisions. Please try to keep up.

I don't think his daughters witnessed it because they left before the hearing was over. But even if they had they seem too young to fully understand what transpired.

I'd have been ashamed if my dad did that.

They'll probably hear about it at school and when they do they'll probably have lots of questions for their dad.

I am sure they have more than 2 brain cells, and recognize the faux rage for what it is.

They might not understand it today but there will be a day that they will. I wonder how his wife felt.

Wasn't aware of that.thx for the info.

Was he the guy who fired Archibald Cox to protect Nixon?

Yes — that’s why today’s corrupt Republicans like kavanaugh support Nixon — would have voted against the 8-0 ruling on the tapes —

50 years of GOP treason since Nixon’s high treason during the 1968 election — sabotaging Paris Peace Talks — costing the USA 🇺🇸 22,000 more lives — untold hundreds of thousands of wounded warriors —

Take it back to Lucky Lindbergh and Prescott Bush in the GOP Nazi-appeasing 1930s — MacArthur OPENLY calling out Truman and getting fired — Joe McCarthy — Vice-President Nixon —

Take it back further to ‘Radical Republicans’ in on Lincoln’s Assassination — GOP’s stealing the 1876 election — Thank Goodness 😅 for Teddy Roosevelt — before Republicans trashed the USA 🇺🇸 again with the Great Depression —

while this is nutso nonsense, you might check up on how Joseph Kennedy viewed Hitler. Pretending only republicans were early fans of the Nazi regime is yet another bit of partisan hackery on your part.

Its not hard to say at all. Any reasonable person would would think the faux rage is stupid. I bet she’s more reasonable than most.

John Dean sounded the alarm. I doubt the GOP will heed it.

Bork sabotaged himself with Nixon.

That is not what the hearings on his confirmation concluded.

Biden claims he guaranteed only his legal views were considered.

I saw Mr. Biden struggle to focus the hearings on Judge Bork’s judicial philosophy rather than his private life, in the face of overwhelming political pressure from interest groups on the left. Mr. Biden’s efforts to protect Judge Bork’s and Judge Thomas’s privacy demonstrate that, although he was present at the creation of the post-Bork era, he did not cause it. On the contrary, he did everything in his power to resist the collapse of boundaries between nominees’ public and private lives.

A good many Democrats admired Hitlers mastery of the German economy.

I call much of the resistance to this view Faux history

Even Roosevelt practiced discrimination against the Jews.

Nothing the liberal vermin does shocks me anymore

and nothing the blind and brainwash rightie does surprises me!

is sad.though the way they vote against everything that is good for them.

obviously dumb as a stump

But I thought there were good people in both sides?:lamo

Why do you suppose FDR jailed the Japanese, some Germans and italians due to their ethnicity? And why did he turn back a ship full of Jews who were taken back to Germany?

As yet, neither do the Trump investigations.

The current nominee was picked for the short list before the election day vote.

Actually that is not true. Kavanaugh was not on the original list that Trump released in 2016. Here is that list; no Kavanaugh.

https://www.businessinsider.com/donald-trump-supreme-court-list

No, he was added in October 2017 just when Trump was getting very agitated about the Mueller investigation. Many believe his inclusion was because of Kavanaugh's outspoken nature in advocacy of broad presidential powers and protections.

Almost all of what Trump does is about Trump, why would this be any different?
