As far as I know, no information has come out that shows that they were. Since he just took a plea, there won't be any trial or evidence presented. What I think happened is that they got him on plenty of tax stuff, but they wanted the pleas on campaign finance.

Of course, they knew the media say, "OMG, Trump's lawyer did this, he must be guilty too!" without the slightest thought that it may be completely false.

What does that prove? It's just him copping to his deal. It doesn't even prove a crime was committed. It proves he decided to take the deal they offered, nothing more.

An innocent man does not plead guilty to a crime, one that could send him to jail. Cohen may be slimy, but he sure isnt stupid.
