Will Trump spend more time in the WH or Prison?

  • More time in the White House. He's not guilty of any crime

Trump won't go to prison.

We don't do that to presidents. No matter how much the presidents have done to harm the country, we won't send them to jail.

For one thing, any president who follows Trump will not want to be the one who allows it to become a possibility that a president could end up in jail.



But I can't guess if he'll be saved by a Pence pardon or by a complicit GOP who never allows him to be held accountable to begin with or by an FBI or Justice Department which makes excuses such as "He did wrong but we don't have proof that he knew it was against the law."
 
The GOP will make the same deal Nixon got. Resign and get pardoned.

No jail time. Trump will hold out to get Dumb jr, Ivanka and Jared pardon as well.
 
He'll spend more time on the golf course, most likely.

Trump will spend at least four years in the White House...maybe eight.

In regard to prison, well...let me know when he gets there, eh?

I think America needs to re-visit this Presidential pardon issue,as well as allowing SCOTUS members to serve for life ( too much power for 9 people to serve for so long,as well as 'stacking the deck' with members leaning left or right...The fact Trump,in particular, is clearly using his 'pardon power' ,scares the hell out of me,as it it is a;ready affecting our national security,and most certainly,he will revoke more security clearances from some of our most informed sources of vital national security.James Clapper being at,or near the top of the list..As for the poll,I would need more selections to choose from b4 voting.
 
I don't find him going to prison very likely, for the same reasons others have mentioned.

I'll add that I think time and energy spent on this is counter productive, as it destroys the momentum that should be building up for 2020. I feel like the opposition is pretty far behind on that task right now, and doesn't need more distractions.

Rather than spend a good part of the next couple years talking impeachment (and likely failing at it,) I think we'd all be better served selecting the candidate to beat him, and campaigning for a leader with a rational disposition and superior policy.

We consistently learn the wrong lessons. If the Dems put up an ultra left candidate it'll be Trump election to lose, no matter what a PoS he may be.

I think we should settle for voting Democrats back into control of one or more chambers of Congress so they can be a check on his power.

He will not send anytime in prison. Only fringe elements on the left think he is going to go to prison, get impeached or some other nonsense.
 
Do not think it is very likely that Donald Trump will spend any time in prison.

But i guess anything is possible....

Suspect that will probably happen in the HoR come November.

Trump wont go to prison.. he is too rich and too old. He hopefully will be convicted and disgraced and maybe have his business seized.. but actual prison no. Now his son(s) is another matter.

doubt that he sees any jail time, but the jumpsuit would match his skin color, so that part would work.

as for alleged crimes, we don't know anything about that for sure until Mueller's report comes out. however, we can probably speculate that taking large bribes through his lawyer and funneling it through secret bank accounts could potentially end up causing him problems. oh, and if the stories are true about him helping Russians launder money using real estate, uh, yeah. that one might not be able to be swept under the table.

yet to be determined....if anything.That said I'm glad I'm not in his shoes regarding matters of juris prudence.

Trump is panicked, if he did real crimes Mueller's going to find them and prosecute him.

Enough with the grand standing.. and the President is an honorable gentlemen talk. Trump killed decorum and now they want it back? Trump is a corrupt president, and if he broke the law he's going to get locked up.

Pence will never see a day as POTUS. He's neck-deep in the matters involved in the Russia investigations.

Most likely money laundering or similar charges. There is clear evidence of this going back decades.... There might also be violations of campaign finance laws and other such things. The list is pretty much endless with him. I would not at all be surprised if sexual misconduct charges with minors pops up.. he has been heavily linked with it before. We shall see, he is after all made of teflon.
 
I don't think Trump will do jail time. The "sheeple" that the Republican party has morphed in to may save him. But, in my own personal opinion, years after he is gone, history will marvel at how corrupt he actually was. I just hope the damage he is doing to America is repairable. When I see threads about the states breaking off on their own, I think political division is becoming really scary, and then how Putin must be delighted right now.

Pence should be careful about pardoning the Donald. It is not out of the question that there is dirt on him too.

And ,of course,he cheats according to some of those who have played w/him..no surprise there...cheating is part of his DNA.
