Should Trump Be Impeached Due to Erratic Behavior?

Should Trump Be Impeached Due to Erratic Behavior?

Let's look at what the law says about impeachment:

Being a mess and erratic are not treason, bribery nor a high crime, nor a misdemeanor. So the answer is no. Using impeachment for political purposes is not a good idea, is not how impeachment was designed, and is plainly and clearly a bad idea. We have a constitutionally recognized and approved way to remove him from office in just a couple years.

It's not any different than how he has treated John Brennan a lifelong public servant and patriot. And erratic behavior definitely has lead to national security risks and corruption all up and down the board in this administration. Mueller started his investigation because of a drunk guy bragging to Australians. Omarosa was able to tape someone in the war room.

I think if you would compare John Brennan to Swampy's statements. You'll find that Mr. Swampy is 1000X more erratic than John Brennan. Tweets, speeches, actions. It doesn't matter. It should be clear to everyone by now that everything the President does is a calculated erratic mess, which is not a normal way to be ruling the country.

Anyone who votes no is a class-A hypocrite.

As per below the statement of Brennan's security clearance being revoked:

Trump revokes security clearance for former CIA Director Brennan, and has 9 more critics in his sights

In a normal world there would be impeachment papers being drawn up right now. Note the question is Should he be impeached, not will he be.

Just a completely ridiculous poll but par for the course from the anti-President Trump forces. Take a look at Article 2, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution.
You can not impeach Trump just because you hate him. Not going to happen. Never!

This is not about the election....jeez.

It is about We The People getting the guy we elected even if power does not like him.

He has already been unfairly hobbled, unfairly treated all around actually.... if power removes him without our permission the country blows up.

Trump should be impeached for trying to dismantle free speech (news media) and our fbi cia and doj and kissing putins but Trump is the enemy of the state

This is not about the election....jeez.

Its about your inability to get over the election. Which is the point of every single one of your Trump hating threads.

There is nothing in that post that says I want him impeached because I hate him. Nothing.

All we have to do is look at your postings as a whole. You rant and rave everyday about President Trump! Like I said you can't just impeach him for nothing.
Please read the Constitution. It will help you understand things a bit better. :peace

No. He's the president of the U.S. I didn't agree with Obama, but he was still the president. I respect the office, and will respect Trump.

You didn't read the post then. I highlighted how hypocritical it is for him to essentially fire someone for being erratic. If that is the case, then the American people should fire the President.

What you seem to not understand is that Trump is not acting erratic, he is acting like Trump, like he acted like when he asked for the job. We gave him the job, then Trump kept on acting like Trump rather than changing and selling us out like all of the other assholes have done.

Trump gets brownie points for this not removed from office.

Also you people don't seem to understand. Trump isn't stupid, how would've he gotten this far if he really was that stupid?

Exactly, if Brennan is too erratic or dishonest to be allowed access to the nation's most closely held secrets, then Trump should absolutely be removed from access to that material, since Trump is way worse than Brennan.

This is america, the land of swindlers, conspiracy theorists and conmen. Anything can happen in America, don't ya know!

Is it a "high crime, or misdemeanor"? It isn't? Then...no. :lamo

This is why we have a constitution. Damn, but the Founders were ****ing smart! They invisioned this idiocy. :lamo

A "high crime and misdemeanor" is whatever Congress deems it to be.

Yes, and the Constitution also provided for an actual vote of members of the Electoral College, who's primary function is to overrule the vote of the citizens when the citizens elect someone unfit for office. If you remember correctly, Trump was deemed "unfit for office" by the political editorial boards of nearly every major American newspaper, including some very conservative ones such as the Arizona Republic, The Dallas Morning News, USA Today and the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Endorsement: Hillary Clinton is the only choice to move America ahead

Nonetheless, the Electoral College met and there was no discussion on Trump's fitness. They failed to do their Constitutionally designated jobs, leaving the rest of us to figure out how to clean up this mess.... as clearly that the editorial staffs of the American newspaper community were correct: Trump is unfit for office.

Amazing how you are the only one on this thread after 37 posts who agrees with me... I don't know where these people come from or how they form their asinine opinions.

Yes, the Constitution provides for the removal of a government official from office. But, while we are discussing the Constitution, let us also point out that it provides a unique system to ensure the man voted into office is actually fit for office. The unique system is the Electoral College, which are comprised of actual electors.

A primary function of electors is to review the legitimacy of the elected candidate and approve or overrule the vote of the citizens should the citizens elect someone unfit for office. If you remember correctly, Trump was deemed "unfit for office" by the political editorial boards of nearly every major American newspaper, including some very conservative ones such as the Arizona Republic, The Dallas Morning News, USA Today and the Cincinnati Enquirer.

So, now that we have someone unfit for office, in office, the discussion legitimately turns to how best to remove him from office.

We are in big trouble to be sure, all of the willfully ignorant sadistic assholes we have running around now are a huge problem.

WE USED TO BE BETTER!

I voted "No"

No one here hates Trump more than me.

But "erratic behavior" is not an impeachable offence.

Which journalists have been arrested or imprisoned or shot here in the US?
This is what one does when one aims to 'dismantle free speech', yet nothing of the sort has been reported, and I rather doubt that it could be hidden if it did happen, which it hasn't.

Legitimately criticizing the 'news' (political propaganda) media isn't 'dismantling free speech'.

It an exercise of free speech to legitimately criticize someone or something.

Your opinion that Trump is not violating the Constitution or his oath of office is not worth a damn. Many others feel differently and no the founders could never have "envisioned" Trump.
