Tricky question. Prior to Trump I didn't have any issues with Republicans that I didn't have for all politicians. Trump has made the Republican party into a grouping of disgusting trash. If this congress were made up of Republicans like Kasich, Bush, Rubio, McCain ect then absolutely. If this hypothetical congress were made up of the sexist, racist, big mouth bullying, lying, corrupt, ignorant vermin that seems to have taken over the Republican party with Trump then no.

Generally speaking, when those supposedly tasked with representing the people instead do whatever they can to get campaign donations, the result is harm to the people.

Because their interests are not being represented.

They haven't been since like 1980 or even a bit earlier.
