But sadly, even if what you said was remotely true that would still be 1000 times better than letting disgusting wealthy **** bags run wild and destroy us entirely.
 
I am voting "D" up and down the board every election for the near future regardless of the candidate. We absolutely need people in office who will stand up against Trump. It doesn't matter what their stance on anything else is. As long as they oppose Trump they have my vote.
 
Regulations are usually there for a reason - whether it be environmental or consumer/worker safety. The GOP want to get rid of important environmental regulations. Again, the GOP would love to intrude into the lives of millions of women by restricting or banning abortion. Taxes are crucial to the functioning of the country, and increasing them to say the levels under Bill Clinton would not harm the economy whilst allowing the government to invest in infrastructure.

At this point I'm not sure the Democrats really have to prove that this isn't what they are going to do, but I will gladly vote for them if they do things like combat corruption, sensible gun control, and reverse Swamp era Executive Orders. Also since they aren't in the back pocket of Russians and don't lie as much as Swampy, and don't sleep with pornstars, they already have a leg up.

It doesn't matter what they say, it is common knowledge that what they will do is open the borders and then right before midterms, grant amnesty to every illegal in the country. Obama as much as said so when he promised to "change America". He sure did. And the democrats will finish the job to seize absolute power.

You think the economy under performed sucked under Obama? You wait until the democrats don't have to worry about winning elections.

Nonsense, everyone knows Right wing propaganda is the opposite of reality, especially in the Trump era.

Republicans push for more government in immigrants lives.
More government intrusion in letting the wealthy pay less and less taxes, leaving the debt to increase, requiring more taxes you have to pay relative to ultra-wealthy.
More government intrusion against LGBTQ
More government intrusion if average workers try to pool resources to negotiate
More government intrusion in protecting corporations from their customers.

In the real world, government is typically ensuring business behaves, freedom from religion, and hopefully in the next decade another reform of health care.
Without government to reign in the "other people with the most power", you're a victim and you've been convinced you're "free".

Wise up.
 
When did the need for federal taxation sufficient to pay for current (and increasing) federal spending go away? I'm all for less federal government power and expense but not for continued borrowing from future generations to fund the re-election of those now in power.

The Republican's model Supreme Court Justices, Thomas and Scalia, dissented on the decision to overturn sodomy laws, but its the Democrats that you think intrude on people's lives. The current Republican AG is hell bent on blocking state laws decriminalizing marijuana, and wants to double down on the drug war, but you think its the Democrats that intrude on people's lives. Most Republicans were adamant supporters of stop and frisk, but you think it's the Democrats that intrude on people's lives. You would be hard pressed to find any aspect of private life that social conservatives don't want some kind of government window into or legal say about, but you think its the Democrats that intrude on people's lives...

Wow. Regulations kill jobs and job creation. Republicans are against murder. I don't call that intruding on the lives of women. Taxes? Seriously? You want to campaign on more taxes?

Republicans lowered taxes on the poor, allowing many more of the poor to pay zero taxes than there were before.
