No, your post is the epitome of blind partisan hackery.

Just stating the fact. If you look at the threads on this forum there are faaaaaaaaaaaaar more troll posts from the left than there are from the right. But, I do acknowledge that both sides do it. Do you?

First of all, we were told that this would be a middle class tax break, which as it turned out was a lie. Secondly, corporations received a huge tax break and we were told that jobs would be created. However, as we knew, the money saved by these companies went to stock buy backs, dividends and executive compensation. Exactly what happened with Bush tax cuts.
Little of any went to the workers, in fact 3% or less received salary increases or bonuses. Now we hear that Trump and the Congress want to give billions more because long term capital gain rates are too high at 20%.

I'm middle class and I got a tax break. My wife is middle class and she got a tax break. Methinks you read far too much left wing propaganda.

Then it really doesn't have anything to do with Trump. You just want to vote anti-Republican.

It has a lot to do with Trump. I want to put obstacles in his way at the polls and to punish those who put us all at risk by giving him control of the military.

I have a pet theory that the reason that Congress went to the Republicans in 2016 is that the people "knew" that Clinton would win, and wanted a Republican Congress to constrain her. I believe much the same motive will be involved in how people vote this November.

Basically, are you voting for Democrats?

Nah, the insane trump train and its out of control orgy of borrow and spend is too much damn fun, and these regressive religious nuts getting appointed as judges need a little more time to shove the gays back into their closets. I'm a straight, white male and life is good!

Plus, I love watching the POTUS bootlick Putin.

and don't sleep with pornstars, they already have a leg up.

In fairness we sleep with porn stars on occasion too we're just less judgemental and not preachy about while we ourselves are doing it.

Your tax break was peanuts!

Pure jealously that someone got more than someone else. Since the rich paid the huge majority of the taxes then it is understandable that when taxes are cut, the rich get higher tax cuts than the poor. They still pay the huge majority of the taxes and the poor still got tax cuts.

I thought you were part of that party that insisted on balanced budgets, lower spending, and less debt. Now you are in favor of bigger and bigger deficits. Such hypocrisy!

I'll probably be voting Republican in my race for the House and probably 3rd party in the race for the Senate. Likely will make little to no real difference in either case.

Let's hope. One party rule with Trump at the top is frightening.

Permanent tax cuts for the rich and more being discussed while everyone else got temporary cuts that actually do not amount to squat. All the while spending is increased, not very conservative in any sense, run your household budget that way and you will see the inside of a bankruptcy court quickly. Sooner or later we are going to pay the piper and if you think the last super Recession was bad you haven't seen a thing yet. In the end the results will fall squarely on trump and the Repubs and will be a long time before the American People will trust the GOP to have full control of the Nation.

Interesting. You do know that what most of what a President wants to accomplish has to be passed by Congress. There are people running for Congress that are D, R, and I, that do not support President Trump in all of his ideas. So you are going to just vote D without looking at who is the best candidate. Your choice. Not mine.

(side note. I did not vote for Trump).

The majority if Republicans support Trump. All Dems oppose him. He needs to be stopped regardless of the consequences. It is funny how trash like Trump can change things. I have always voted for the candidate, not the party. My entire life. These are different times. I've never blindly donated money to a political party either but the last 18 months I am giving. I've never volunteered for any party - this summer I have been. (side note. I did not vote for Trump either, or Hillary. I wrote in Kasich who I believe was the best candidate and we see what that got us). So this election cycle - and the next few elections for me are not for a person - they are against a person and the party that supports him. 100%. I also encourage as many people locally and in my friends/family circle to get out and vote who only get out in presidential elections. He has to be stopped.

Trump and Trump supporters are destroying this country. That is fact.

I totally disagree, and I'm not even a Trump supporter.

All the left and their ever faithful media have done is cry, piss, moan, accuse, attack and marginalize their political adversaries (rinse and repeat) 24/7 since the election. Based on all the howling from the loony left, anyone who didn't know better would think that Trump had civil rights legislation overturned, reestablished legal slavery and black people were being attacked and lynched by white mobs in the streets.

Sure, there are still racist people in America and there will always be, but there's no massive resurgence of the white supremacist movement like you want people to believe. The truth is, the overwhelming majority of the hatred, bigotry and intolerance that's taking place today, emanates from those on the political left, not the right. Up until a decade ago, when somebody was racially insensitive or committed some offense that was motivated by racism, the public directed their scorn toward the individual who committed the act. That's no longer true today... Every single incident that takes place by a white person, where racism is involved or even perceived to have been involved, the left immediately assigns the blame to Donald Trump, and not only calls his supporters racists, but accuses every white person on the political right of either being a racist, or a supporter of racism.

People can only put up with being falsely labeled a racist because of their political views for so long, and if the left doesn't cool their jets soon, I predict there's going to be a violent backlash and it won't be pretty. I really don't want to see our society devolve into violence and ciaos, nor does anyone else I know want to see it happen either... Sadly, I think playing identity politics is now such a vital political strategy for the left, that they no longer give a damn about the consequences.

You support having a president that sends non-stop tweet attacks

No sir, I don't approve of his tweets or his use of twitter in general.

In some cases my vote will cancel yours :lamo

Really? You can document this? Because if you cannot, then it is opinion, not fact. I understand the difference.

The average tax cut for the middle 20 % of the population was 780 $ a year, or 15 bucks a week. Source: https://www.taxpolicycenter.org/sites/default/files/publication/154006/the_effect_of_the_tcja_individual_income_tax_provisions_across_income_groups_and_across_the_states.pdf). That means that about half of all taxpayers got less than that. Not terribly exciting, nor is it going to have a real impact on those families. That is why republicans are not running on it.
Moreover, half of that tax-cut bonanza for the middle class was eaten away by rising gasoline prices.

Kinda a separate issue, but yeah. Tariffs won't help them either. Paying more with stagnant wages is not a good thing.

Trump and Trump supporters are destroying this country. That is fact. You support having a president that sends non-stop tweet attacks and constantly divide. When you hold that POS accountable for what he does, then I'll consider what you have to say. Until then, handle YOUR side first, then speak to me.

That is an opinion, not a fact. Please do not confuse the two. It is also hyperbole. America has survived for over 200 years because we can handle the occasional terrible president. Trump is a terrible president, but when you overstate your case, you actually help his supporters.

Basically, are you voting for Democrats?

It never, ever ceases to amaze me that you continue to vote for a party who still struggles with whether you are a human being. But that's your choice, and I can't make it for you.

I prefer not paying for sex, so I expect the same from my leaders.

Tell me, Redress: How high do the odds of a plane crash need for you to be for you to not get on that plane? One-in-50? One-in-1000? One-in-a-million?

The point being, it doesn't matter that the odds of tRump's destroying democracy in America are small. It matters that they're not insignificantly small.

What a stupid question, why should this country stand by when the tax system is designed to move all the main wealth of this country into the hands of the wealthy Reagan's trickle down lie, what did people think was going to happen when the top tax bracket went from 70% to 28%. What happened since then all profits other then pennies of gone into the hands of the wealthy. and the working people in this country got a little more then nothing , to nothing , to less then nothing. While the wealthy had income raises of 100%.

I was talking to my financial advisor/friend/tax guy a couple of days ago.He told me we no longer get those 'personal exemptions' ( about 4500 per person per year ) deductions .Have you heard anything about this, and whether or not it is part of Trump's new tax laws,or was it already set to go into effect this year?....if you know

True, a man who paid $290,000 in order to have sex twice probably shouldn't be going around bragging about his negotiating ability.
