Mueller-Trump Interview

He's not testifying until he's subpoenaed and until he loses all court motions that ultimately result in forcing him to testify. I'm not sure what the point of all this theater on Trump's part is, but it is theater.

not without a Subpoena

trump can't help but lie. he will be setting himself up to a perjury charge.

...and, he won't be subpeona'd if he is a target.

Mueller has nothing on Trump. His only hope is to try to catch him in a lie, lie the FBI did with Flynn. Flynn did nothing wrong but he was charged with lying about his actions which were not wrong in themselves. Go figure. If Mueller can he will try to nail Trump on discrepancies about his version of a meeting a democrat Russian plant managed to get with Trump Jr. Did Trump know about the meeting? Who cares? Was Trump wrong to know about it or not? No. Was it illegal for Trump Jr. to meet with the Russian spy sent by democrats to meet him at Trump Towers? No.

This whole thing about an interview is not to see if Trump wants to confess to something he did illegally. Mueller just wants to trap him with nonsense accusations about slightly varying statements about that wholly legal event or some other wholly legal deed, like firing James Comey.

Good analysis. As Comey said about Hillary's email investigation, there wasn't enough evidence that any prosecutor would prosecute her, so it is with Trump. There is no solid evidence on Trump on anything that a prosecutor could prosecute with, so their only hope is to get Trump for some kind of perjury - which ain't gonna happin.

Thank you for sharing your fantasies...they appear to be a long-distance phone call from reality.

Rest assured, there is a pretty good "dossier" developed on the wrong-doings of Trump. The question is whether those will ever result in actual charges against him or whether he will simply be a placeholder in the ultimate indictments as an obvious "unnamed co-consipator"

Not much good will come out of it. You can't trust Mr. Swampy, he is a known liar. Mueller knows the answers to his questions already. But if anything good is going to come out of it, Swampy should do it on LIVE TV, so that he can get one more HUGE ratings before his sentence/trial.

PS I think there will be an interview, or rather something called an interview.
If mueller has all the answers already whats the point of an interview?

Trump IS ALL Theater, all the time....

Trump is killing the U.S. with his song, one tweet at a time...also cutting his own throat one tweet at a time.

I really hate it that Mueller is only updating trump supporters on the status of his investigation while the rest of us have to wait for the completed report to come out.

Duh. He's the Reality-TV President. It's drama drama drama. Likely, they countered with something that isn't reasonable, but he'll spin the narrative that he tried to work with Mueller, but that Mueller refused to. Drama drama drama.

You cannot expect anything else than that to come from Trump.

Swampy's team of swampy lawyers have just turned down Mueller's request. The POTUS will soon be subpoenaed and then he will call it an interview

Do Trump supporters recall Trump telling Hillary the following:

My question to his supporters is: Why didn't Trump immediately do that after taking office? Just initiate an investigation with a special prosecutor - win, loss, or draw?

The same crime committed by Tony Podesta, John Podesta, the Podesta Group, and dozens of others, mostly democrats and many dealing with Russia? Why was Tony Podesta's home not raided in the middle of the night? Why was Tony Podesta not slapped in jail and put in solitary confinement? Because Mueller is not after democrats, he is after Trump and Manafort is the closest he can get, although the crimes Manafort committed were long before Trump became a presidential candidate.

I'm not a lawyer, but I watch a lot of TV; I have only heard of "first year law students." It used to take a four year (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior) degree to become a first year law student. Where did you go to law school?

It is a tongue-in-cheek slam. Even someone with no legal training could take Hillary's recorded words and turn them into a cache of blatant liews.

He just called the entire Republican Party idiots, because she WAS interviewed for hours on end about Bengha and she wiped the floor with them.

"What the he** difference does it make that American lives were lost because rescuers standing by were told to stand down?"

You mean like Trey Gowdy did for 12 hours in a Congressional committee?

I remember that...just before she was indicted and convicted.

Oh, wait.

It was revealed in testimony in that hearing that Hillary told Chelsea that the attack was a terror attack, but she told the public it was caused by a video. Democrats did not like the video because it was truthful about Muslims and put Muslims in a bad light. Democrats found the filmmaker and had him jailed after the attack.

But she pretty much summed up her frustration with Americans and congressmen who wanted answers with her now inmamous remark about the causes underlying the deaths of Americans on her watch, "What the he** difference does it make now?"

Democrats unmasked and leaked the names of hundreds of Americans spied on by the Obama administration. Comey leaked a memo to a friend in violation of federal espionage laws for the purpose of getting Mueller appointed to begin his long-lasting fruitless witchhunt designed to bring down Trump. Hundreds of secrets have been leaked about all sorts of things involved with secret government intelligence. The democrat Russian fake dossier was leaked all over the place like sewage from a broken pipe, until the Trump-haters in the Justice Department used it to illegally get democrat court permission to spy on Trump through Carter Page, an innocent American who has never been interviewed by anyone on Mueller's team and has never been charged with a crime.

That was probably one of his best responses which helped catapult him into the WH over Hillary.

No doubt about that...but he didn't follow through. Why didn't he? Almost immediately? He still constantly Tweets about crooked old Hillary. About her emails. He did it in Helsinki standing in the presence of Putin on Global television.

If you want to be taken seriously, #BEBEST.........

Like these guys with “no legal training?”

Stop crapping the poll.......:gunner: :blastem:

Democrats do not like people posting opinions which run contrary to their favorite narratives, whether Americans or others, like Russians. Democrats claim Russians violate American voting laws by expressing non-democrat-approved opinions on America media outlets.

Yet trump is now the one who may very well be jailed, and catapulted into his own worst nightmare. The closet he will get to Air Force One is making a paper airplane in his rubber room. How sweet it is!.

Why do Trump supporters constantly do this? If you have to put "but" or "except" after "He did nothing wrong" then that means he did do something wrong. If you wouldn't accept "Hillary did nothing wrong except lie to the FBI" then you shouldn't use that incredibly juvenile excuse to defend your guy. It's either a crime or it's not. It's right or its wrong. If he did nothing wrong then he had no reason to lie to the FBI.

Putin has his own claims about political corruption involving both Americans and Russians in collusion with one another. If only we knew the extent of all political corruptions in these two major world powers I think we would be shocked to the core.

There are many Americans desperately hoping to see the Trump-haters in the Justice Department bring Trump down, on whatever charges they can or will finally come up with. Those lurking in the shadows with heavy breather bated breath outside the WH grounds include transvestites, child abusers, murderers, drug abusers, illegal aliens, terrorists, baby killers, God haters, fake science promoters, tax-hike lovers, monthly paid big money government dependents, government employees, unions, and dozens of others.

We call those American Patriots in the world of reality.God doesn't have squat to do with any of the rest of the drivel.

I'd bet if Mueller has substantiated evidence of impeachable offenses then he turns over said evidence to the House Judiciary Committee. Assuming the evidence is solid and not just he/she said he/she said I believe the House will vote to impeach regardless of the majority after the midterms.
