She should tell them to get over it and grow a thicker skin. Just as Trump should.

Today Sarah Sanders was given 3 separate chances to say the press is not the "enemy of the American people.' She refused all three times. Is this proper?

No, I want the American People to see what kind of POS is squatting in the Oval Office, the more he talks the more he reveals of himself and the more People will understand he is unfit.

He said "fake news" not "the press". Great job you all have been doing at perpetuating a lie.

Yeah, except in you and Trump's delusional world the Fake News is basically the entire free press except for Fox News. So yeah, he did in fact call the press the enemy of the people.

President Trump on Thursday clarified that not all members of the media are the "enemy of the people," just the "FAKE NEWS, which is a large percentage of the media."

Translation: Everything not Fox or Breitbart or Sinclair is FAKE NEWS ... a/k/a the "enemy of the people".

Better translation: Any media/reporter that dares question or criticize Lord Trump is FAKE NEWS.

Many American people did choose him.

Most did not, in fact he only got supported by around a 4th of voters. Don't believe me, more than half of those that voted voted for someone else and half if voters did not vote, leaving around a quarter of voters that voted for him. Enjoy.

Maybe you are feverishly trying to rationalize refusing to listen to the argument that journalism sucks now. I point out the obvious fact that there is almost no chance Trump would be President now if journalism worked now.

Maybe just maybe we should fix journalism.

NOW

Fix, how? Don't forget about that double edged sword...

Fix, how? Don't forget about that double edged sword...

Nobody is talking about fixing journalism, Hell very few people are willing to talk about how journalism is broken....how many know but refuse to speak about it is hard to say, with the rest being ignorant.

Stupid and/or immoral...this encapsulates the low quality of our FAILED INTELLIGENTSIA!.

I do believe in freedom of the press. I don't believe the press gets a free pass to be abusive, disgusting, whiny cretins.

I taught my two sons...very early in their lives...that behavior has consequences. The press doesn't seem to agree with me.

Wah. Wah. Wah. The only abusive, disgusting, whiny, cretin is sitting in his bed eating Mcdonalds hamburgers and drinking cokes while watching Fox News.

Saying that it's the enemy of the people, is not fixing journalism. It's just more whiny noise.

The chance that Trump eats in bed are approximately zero. Trying to be cute is fine, but I suggest that you should not lie about a man to do it. The Better People dont do that.

I can spin numbers too:

62,979,636 million Americans is 'many' in my world. 46.1 percent compared to Hillary's 48.2 percent. A difference of 2.1% Not exactly a landslide even in 'popular vote' land.

Point being saying 'the American people' as if it was all inclusive, is incorrect.

Reporters don't bake cookies or concoct cotton candy. They dig.

That's what the Fourth Estate does in Washington, dig for government mismanagement, corruption etc. It's always been that way.

I watch every Sanders presser. Reporters don't get uppity. The problem is, Sanders dances around every question without delivering a direct answer.

The WH Press Corps gets frustrated with her constant deflections and 'Ehhhh, I have no information on that' act.

When did journalists decide they had the authority to demand what the potus says instead of reporting what he says and leave it at that.

I answered yes to the poll question, simply because as a matter of outreach to those opposed to this White House, it would be a good PR move. However, it is unquestionably true, in my view, that there are significant elements in the US media spectrum who are unabashedly anti this White House and everything it says and does. CNN is right up there at the top of the list. Their fanatical obsession with destroying the Trump Presidency is equally, if not more so dangerous, because a free press is supposed to be largely apolitical and unbiased ideologically.

That said, the White House and the President also enjoy the privileges of free speech and the media, and social media, are largely to blame for the great divide that exists politically in America today. For many who support President Trump, the mainstream US media are their enemy by their very actions and obsessions.

Perhaps the media would be well served and America well served if they stopped treating the President as he was the enemy of the people.

This sentence makes no sense. Would you like to try again?

Let me be clear. The COTUS actually does talk about freedom of the press. OTOH it only talks about the right of well-regulated militia to bear arms.

Okay.

Moving on...

When hucka-sanders leaves, and yes she is planning on doing so despite what she claims. How long before Trumpsters start saying she was terrible at her job?
