Todays drug addict could be tomorrows Elon Musk, todays high school valedictorian could de tomorrows drug addict.
Theoretically, those scenarios are possible. But unlikely. Statistically, you are using outliers to form your argument for the pretense that all people have 100% equal value no matter what their actions or inaction. In nature, each member must contribute or die. Are humans outside of this realm of existence? Are we an exception to that rule?
If your child got hooked on drugs would you try to help them recover or just let them die because they are of no value to society at the moment?
I have had many family members in the past who were drug addicts. Each of them drained the life out of everyone around them, and many continue to do so. I do not associate with those people. They had their chance. If it was my child, I would try to help. If I needed to, I would lock them in a room, tied to a bed until they detoxed. If they went back to using, I would disown them. There is no such thing as unconditional love. All things in life have a condition.
Are physical/mental disabilities worth less than those without disabilities?

Before her I doubt anyone imagineda blind person could study the stars
Disabilities present a very complex situation. Stephen Hawking was likely worth more than many people without a disability because of his brilliant contributions to science. Having a disability doesn’t mean someone cannot contribute, they just need assistance in doing so. But it can even out in many cases. Stephan Hawking was likely more valuable than you or I in that he contributed so much to physics and our understanding of the universe.
On a less black and white situation, is an inventor who designs a new piece of medical equipment that saves lives of more value then the entrepreneur who produces/distributes the equipment or the doctor who uses it?
Both have equal value. Neither could be of any use to anyone without the other. Both contribute a great deal to society.
Is a pregnant housewife of more value than a wheelchair bound engineer?
Etc etc etc....
It depends. Does the house wife actually raise her children to be productive citizens or does she sit at home and eat or do drugs? Being a mother is one of the most important jobs there are. The moms who get it right are more valuable than gold.
