I will tonight. I have to run to WORK. I will start though by citing the desire for taxpayer funded healthcare. Let's not forget the men that were NOT charged with a crime being disciplined for sexual assault on campus. I will even start a new thread!

Japan has laws against bad etiquette, bad manner and there system/society to me is a great example of a utopia... If you have a problem you are too entitled "muh free speech" imo.

Who gets to decide what is civil speech and what is not? Who gets to enforce those laws? A liberal administration and/or liberal Supreme Court might see it one way and a conservative administration and/or Supreme Court might see it differently. There is a reason our speech restrictions are so minimal. Be careful what you wish for.

I consider liberals to be the far left so I voted yes even though, of course, not all liberals are. But, when it comes to the far right you could ask the very same question. We need to ditch both the far left and the far right and send them to some island where they can live in their own eternal hell instead of bringing it to the rest of us.
 
My problem with Liberalism is that it’s more concerned with policing people’s language and thoughts without requiring them to do anything to fix the problem. White liberal college students speak of “safe spaces”, “trigger words”, “micro aggressions” and “white privilege” while not having to do anything or, more importantly, give up anything. They can’t even have a conversation with someone who sees the world differently without resorting to calling someone a racist, homophobic, misogynistic, bigot and trying to have them banned from campus, or ruin them and their reputation.

Well the article is essentially a black women complaining about white people but she does have a point.... I call these ^^^^ Prviwhits... priviledged whites. They are unable to discuss any issues without jumping onto twitter and yelling RACISM in all 140 characters or whatever number they tweet in currently.

She is talking about equality and morally doing the right thing and as fas as I'm concerned that is the problem we have today in our society. We are told to morally do the right thing... ie. let refugees into the country, but all practical concerns are ignored and if you point these out you're considered some immoral hatefull rightwinger. This behaviour needs to change or we are going to solve nothing.

There are simply too many people misplaced in the world to take them all in and many of these people also pose a danger to our societies, they need to be carefully screened. I am all for helping people but we must stop yelling abuse when someone point out their concerns.

Now the problem with conservatives are that instead of focussing on the issues, they play exactly into liberal hands and voice racist and discriminative remarks, and there should never be a place for this in our societies. Conservatives need to learn how to express themselves without being racist, misogynistic or discriminate, and if they can't do that they deserve every tweet coming their way.

It's a better reality in Japan though they have a more centre right or something government today. I think slightly fluctuating dependent on who gets elected... Th political parties that get elected are usually politically objective and logical "moderate left" "moderate right" and thankfully the conservatives believe in what they believe in from pure policy, facts, science and logic. Not the bull**** (theological nonsense)

As a former democrat, I can tell you that the current attempts of the left to make anyone on the right look like anything. Would be to make them look like Nazis, racist, fascist and any variation of the same pejoratives. The hard left-liberals have been trying to dehumanize those on the right for a long time now.
