The poll speaks for itself.
Agreed.
The poll speaks for itself.
That is my position: Don’t support the Pill, don’t take it. Don’t support abortion, don’t have one.
Pro-Life, against banning the pill, if we are talking about the daily birth control pill which has been around for many decades.
If the Pope can tell women to use 'rhythm' to prevent an unwanted pregnancy then a doctor can tell women to eat this pill.
Although, my first Wife's daughter was born while she was using the pill, but that was very long ago and maybe the pill is more effective today, I wouldn't know. And I assume we negate any/all side effects, if any.
I'm not in favor of abortion-as-birth-control or as a means of procuring biological 'parts' for whatever reason, but the pill is merely prevention, even the Pope agrees women can do that.
Should government rule on abortion rights? Would you consider it as a women right
Can’t censor this Patriot
How about I'm pro what you want, you want to take the pill take the pill, you don't want to , don't take it.
Why is this even a question? I was away, did I miss something?
I don't know anyone that would want it banned except for maybe extreme religious people, they can do a self ban, just don't take it. But BC also treats other issues for woman. Cramps etc.In the other birth control poll thread here, JasperL said that basically all pro-life people want the birth control pill banned.
This is a jump-off from another poll about birth control.
The Pill -- the oral contraceptive that many women take everyday to prevent pregnancy. If a lawmaker in your state proposed a ban on The Pill, would you be for it or against it?

Has anybody proposed this?
It not by any means even remotely close to being mainstream in conservative circles.
And no one said it was "mainstream in conservative circles". It may be a popular enough opinion/position held by people within a certain political district though that they may push for such a thing and it could potentially pass.
In the other birth control poll thread here, JasperL said that basically all pro-life people want the birth control pill banned.
I don't think so.
The poll came from JasperL saying in the other birth control thread that almost all pro-lifers want the birth control pill banned.
Link to that quote, please. I have not seen it.
Again, please link to that post, please. I would most certainly oppose it.
Nonsense. Political rhetoric does not equate to "trying" to overturn RvW. Has anyone or any group brought a legal case to trial that has even the remotest chance of bubbling up to SCOTUS and having SCOTUS agree to hear it? You guys get so panty-twisted whenever your Dear Leaders rattle your cage over the latest progressive battle cry. Think for yourselves once in a while. Think how difficult it would be to overturn a SCOTUS decision standing on fifty years of precedence. Do a little research on the doctrine of stare decisis, or "let the decision stand".
We should ban birth control pills. And also women shouldn't be allowed to talk back or badly to/about Trump. And they should understand how to properly make a roast. And make a roast. And would it kill you to just go ahead and make the bread? I mean for goodness sake, it's not that hard, quit wasting money on store bought bread. Women....sheeesh.
The VICE PRESIDENT of the US is on record saying he hope's RvW is overturned by the SCOTUS.
Rational logic doesn't work on people who want the sky to be falling.
There needs to be another category for being against banning The Pill, but against paying for it.
Just a thought.
The VICE PRESIDENT of the US is on record saying he hope's RvW is overturned by the SCOTUS.
As I am pro life, and seeing as the pill as a contraceptive is purposeful in its application to prevent life from forming I am against the pill.
As I am an informed individual, and seeing as the pill has other benefits for women outside of its traditionally intended purpose, I am for the pill.
That being said, I would not support a ban on the pill.
And? What power does he have to make it happen?
He's the VP, and possibly future Prez. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but with powerful people saying they hope it is overturned, to pretend there isn't a chance RvW won't be overturned is IMO, ill advised.
