There are people who are opposed to female contraception. The issue as silly as some consider it to be went all the way to the Supreme Court, Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Hobby Lobby, 5-4. All 3 female Justices, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Justice Elena Kagan dissented along with Justice Stephen Breyer stating that the ruling limits women's rights.

    It wasn't a silly issue.

There are apparently more than a few people in America who do not support women having the right to decide for themselves whether or not to use birth control.

As I see it it is ridiculous that anyone in America would want to deny a woman the right to decide for herself whether or not to use a contraceptive.

Nothing is certain but change and America has changed. It may be that if Kavanaugh is seated on the Supreme Court nutcases who want to control women may become emboldened and take a shot at it on a grand scale.
No, the issue your thread asked about is not the same as the one in the hobby lobby case. Having the legal ability to, and availability for, use and obtain birth control is entirely different than having s legal responsability as a business to pay for your employees birth control.

As it relates to the poll, yes. As is the case with most things that an individual chooses to put into their body, I think a woman should maintain the ability to purchase and use birth control pills if she so chooses.

I don't play gotcha. I never have. I gave you 4 names. Those four administrative appointees under Trump are/were (one was forced to resign because even for the Trump Party she is a raving nutter) opposed to birth control, some in all form and others in incremental forms. Your search as you posted was incomplete. If you truly want to know the full details on each the onus is on you. Do the grunt work. Playing the starry eyed innocent won't work with me.

Calm down about what? I've waited patiently for your response 2 days now.

What more is there to know? You obviously know things that I didn't find, so what are they? Is there evidence that they want all forms of birth control banned from use in the US? Is there evidence they want The Pill banned? Where is this evidence? If you have it, let's see it. Just saying "find it yourself" isn't how debates work, my friend. The whole "I know what the facts are that back up my points, but I'm not gonna tell you cuz you need to find it yourself" is very immature and not at all intellectually honest.

What is your opinion on the results of your poll? Did you actually think pro-lifers wanted to ban women from taking the birth control pill? Do you believe that the Trump administration will work to ban all birth control? Some birth control? Inquiring minds want to know.
