So, now, under Trump, we rip children from parents a standard immigration policy.

So the fault of the president, or the parent that crossed the border?

Hmmmm.....

These are people seeking asylum not those looking for work.

Yeah, that's right, the parent screwed up first so the State holds no responsibility for what happens to the child going forward! MAGA!!

Your statement is lacking the desired impact; here, take Scarborough's - he's got the inside scoop:

“I know children are being ripped from their mother’s arms, even while they’re being breast-fed. I know children are being marched away to showers, marched away to showers. Being told they are — just like the Nazis — said that they were taking people to the showers and then they never came back,” he said.

“You think they would use another trick like 'Hey, got a slurpee room over there.' 'We’re going to take them to get a slurpee,'” he continued. “That would be better than 'We’re marching them to the showers and we’ll be right back' and they never come back.”

The goal is to make the U.S. an unattractive, frightening place.

Mission accomplished.

What do you want to do with the children?

These people can't wait until the mid-terms.
They don't need to wait for anything. Send Trump a reform bill that he will sign. Or is political points more important than the children to the left?

Which law is requiring him to take these children from their parents and send them to his camps?

I disagree with separating children from their parents but why not post a decent poll?

Long time ago there was a family fleeing violence because those holding power in their country were killing children mercilessly. So Joseph, Mary and their son Jesus, who was the target, fled to Egypt. Nowadays those holding power in Honduras, the gangs, told a young man named Jesus that they have to join a gang or be killed, together with family members. So his father Jose and his mother Maria fled to Mexico and the US for safety, to lose themselves in the northern Mexican city of Monterrey or perhaps in place they don't know called Chicago where Jose's cousin lives legally. In your world Joseph and Jose and Mary and Maria are at fault. Unless perhaps they are fleeing Cuba.

I worked on cases like those at the border (plus Cubans and Haitians) for 20 years, and more recently met with Mexicans who sheltered Hondurans in transit to the north. The immigration service was at fault at times, but many in it tried to do their best. Problem then as now I suspect is that those in charge in Washington made up rules that are irrelevant to the problem but cruel to those who are affected by it, and indeed to those who have to carry them out.

Would Sen. McConnell put it on the floor for a vote?

Looks decent to me.

Nah, perhaps just me, doubt it though but I find those types of polls useless.
If you disagree, next time add are the questions BS or poorly worded.

Buy a tract of land, plant fema trailers, and keep the families together until their application is either approved or denied.

This is not rocket science, we are the USA we can figure out the logistics on housing a million people, this is nothing.

Blame isn't doing jack ****. Blame has not shown any promise in reaching a solution. Blame is political masturbation.

Either America wants a solution to issue of children being separated from their parents or it doesn't. I not sure anymore what America wants. That's a rotten place to be but I don't know that my country cares about the issue.

The GOP owns both houses of Congress and the White House. Where is the ****ing leadership on this issue? The GOP Congress has no balls or no real concern? Who knows. The Democrats, as usual, have no balls. Let's just start with that. Democrats man up here and press the president and the GOP to work quickly in a bi-partisan effort to help these children? Lots of whining but making it a major issue? Ah, no.

Trump has no empathy or compassion. That cannot be successfully disputed. He does not have the ability to feel compassion. There is no way in hell Trump is going to push for a rapid bi-partisan solution. He won't. He certainly could but he WILL NOT.

The People have the power to force Congress, both parties, to address this inhumanity. So far no significant number of Americans have contacted their Congressmen and Senators and demanded that they work toward a rapid and humane solution. Of course as we all know most Americans have no damn clue who their elected officials are.
