I started another of these in March or April; I swore he wouldn’t see 1MAY18. That was before Chic-fil-a, mattresses, pens and many more. We are now 7JUN18. How long does he last?

Dang I thought he was buying Rolex's now in an effort to sell them out of the backseat of his car! :lamo. At this rate he's likely going to be installed as the next "President."

How long does he last?

Trump willingly ignores the blatant corruption as long as Pruitt continues to dismantle EPA regulations and ban peer-reviewed science

LOL. Don't you guys ever learn from your mistakes? However, I do think it is funny that you guys dislike Pruitt so much but don't give a damn how much Mueller runs up his tab.

He'll last as long as he pushes through Trump's agenda to deregulate big oil, big pharma, big coal, big fuel and corporate clean air/safety acts.

I don't agree with any of the options.

I say he retires on his own, and by the end of the summer. Trump won't get rid of him. Apparently Trump likes the man who is the most corrupt individual I think I've ever witnessed in that high a position in our government.

Pruitt is the biggest, baddest, ugliest swamp creature in Trump Swamp. His purpose is to draw attention to himself so that we don't see all of the other big, bad, ugly swamp creatures Trump has installed in the other areas of his administration.

IDK, Trump seems to like Pruitt. Maybe he will be there as long as Trump is. On the other hand, maybe he will say something outside his phone booth to piss Trump off.

Does anyone know why Pruitt wanted a used Trump hotel mattress, and is it true that Greenpeace tried to deliver one to him?

Funny how some of us can't understand the difference between serial blatant corruption and a legally sanctioned government investigation.

Yawn. Nice false equivalency you're trying to peddle there.

Apple, meet orange.

That's because Mueller is investigating wrongdoing, and Pruitt is committing it.

Mueller hasn't got anything to do with Pruitt. I guess any excuse to bash Mueller is … good enough for you.

Every cent Mueller has spent was spent doing his job. This is in contrast to Pruitt. Rather pathetic that you can't see the difference.

Legally sanctioned government investigation is the swamp, don't you get that libtard? Well that is, unless its investing Trump's political opponents, then its draining the swamp. Otherwise though, it's the swamp.

I would have sworn that you would have said President Trump is the most corrupt individual you've ever witnessed in that high a position in our government. I was wrong, huh.

Scott Pruitt is under almost as intense scrutiny by the anti-Trump leftwing media, Democrats/leftists et al as the President is because Pruitt heads the most important government agency in the holy grail of left-think. And as such Pruitt is hated at the same level as the President. Thus he can do no right and everything he does is wrong. There is almost zero reporting on some of the good things the agency is doing but the media, leftist fact check groups, etc. incessantly nitpick that he got this fact wrong or that fact wrong. If he reports super fund sites coming off the list at record rates, he isn't praised for the clean ups or finishing jobs left over from previous administrations. He is criticized for false information because there was as good or better a record decades ago. If he removes duplicate, unnecessary, or destructive regulations--regulations that are clearly not needed or are counter productive while leaving necessary regulations in place--he is accused of promoting dirty coal, water, air, soil, etc. etc. etc. and/or wantonly destroying the Earth due to global warming.

I've never seen such wanton knee jerk, unreasoned, unscientific, unethical criticism/attacks/undermining directed toward any administration as I have seen done toward this one. It is unjustifiable, shameful, and I hope and pray the President and those on his team are tough enough to weather it so that it cannot prevail.

Scott Pruitt is not above criticism and he has received it from me when I think he has clearly done the wrong thing. But he doesn't deserve the hatred and vitriol that he has received in his position.

It's hard to say, I don't think that Trump is going to throw him to the curb, I think he's doing all that Trump wanted done to the EPA. So it will take pressure from Congress, if there is anything they can even do.

Cant be soon enough but The Donald is distracted with G7, annoying our allies, creating trade wars, and enabling his "legacy" with a NK meeting.

We are respectfully going to have to disagree here!

Unfortunately, the Republicans control congress, and most of them have hated the EPA for nearly 40 years now, so Pruitt is doing everything they have wanted done to the EPA as well.

Just the same, Pruitt is a corrupt scumbag, just like his boss. That's why he gets bad coverage because the media is doing its job. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...ory.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.205125166304

Christine Todd Whitman was the EPA Administrator under Bush. She was an honest, good administrator and her media coverage reflected that.

Yall whine and whine about Trump's coverage. Trump is an utterly despicable human being. He is the biggest embarrassment for a president this country has ever had. I am certain that history books will have nothing good to say about him or his core supporters that rationalize every despicable thing he does on a daily basis. If anything, his media coverage is not critical enough. If he were a Democrat, the Republicans would be calling for his trial, and imprisonment long ago for a whole host of charges. Hell they would be calling him a traitor for his campaign taking meetings with Russian FSB agents because they were trying to get dirt on his opponents, and it would not be surprising to me if they were not calling for his federal imprisonment on treason for his leaving a National Security Adviser in his position, with access to the most classified information our country has, for 2 weeks after he was told that National Security Adviser was compromised by a foreign power. He didn't fire him until the media called him on it. That is the piece of **** we have for a president that you rabidly defend.

Of course, the Democrats don't have the kind of spine that Republicans have. They are a bunch of weenies, and they hem and haw around about waiting for the investigation, and these are serious implications and all that spineless garbage instead of saying unequivocally that Trump is not morally, ethically, or even intellectually fit for office, he cares nothing about this country or anyone else that can't do something for him, and the man belongs in a federal prison cell instead of the oval office - that is exactly what every Republican in Washington would be saying about Trump right now if only he had a D after his name.

George W. Bush was to the left of Barack Obama when it came to the EPA and what it administers and Christine Whitman was considerably to the left of him. So of course he and Whitman now--they didn't then because they were R's instead of D's--get kudos from the left. They are being complimented now most especially since they openly don't like Trump or Pruitt.

Have you forgotten all the bru ha ha and lawsuits against the EPA and Whitman personally following 9/11? The left was demanding her head on a platter then. She would leave the EPA, some say under fire, after two and a half years of service.

Yes, albq. I know. It's all the media's fault that Pruitt is as corrupt as the day is long.

And no, you weren't wrong when you said I said that President Trump is the most corrupt individual I've ever witnessed in that high a position in government. Perhaps you don't realize this, but Scott Pruitt isn't the President. So when I said Trump was the most corrupt President of my lifetime (you know - that high a position), Scott Pruitt's antics don't change that statement. Pruitt isn't in "that high" a position as the President. You appear very confused - but that isn't out of the ordinary for you.

You're right about everything you posted here, but I want to particularly call out of the part about Whitman. She was a really strong EPA administrator. She actually was an honorable woman. I'd say I wish she worked in the Trump administration, but she's too honorable for that.
