Well, it wasn't "lying". It was Obstruction of Justice, which is far more than a mere lie.

But Trump's bull**** is not even a weapon, unless the citizens allow it. Sadly, some will. I won't. But Trump and the government don't give a flying crap about me.

Blago was a contestant. I'm not sure if Stewart ever was, but Trump did produce the Martha Stewart Apprentice spin-off show, where Martha acted as the CEO. So Stewart & Trump were business partners.

And. that' way more detail than I want on this. America is corrupt, in politics, in law and religion. I get that. The whole world gets that, but because Americans only complain when they are the victim of it you will have it forever.

Excellent, most do not realize that Presidential Pardons are limited to Federal crimes, not State.

I will confess a bias. since BLowJobabitch was a major league Bannerrhoid, I wouldn't mind if he rotted in prison for the next 40 years but I think its a waste of prison space.

No, but like many things that happen in government when you're talking about the exercise of constitutional powers, it ain't up to me, and no one cares if I agree or not. Its the President's call to make, and he gets to bear the PR and political heat for his decisions.
