I love to read these glimpses into the democrats 2020 election stragety. Even Stalin smiled before he took absolute power and he was free to settle scores.

Keep on hating Trump and everyone who isn’t you.

Funny you should mention that. Trump is a major settler of scores and he thinks he can have his chief prosecutor in his pocket too. He is the one with an enemies list and he is not afraid to use it.

How long ago did we discuss FEMA camps? Wasn't it Beck who did an extensive series about it and people lapped it up? May be that's not the same as reeducation camps. Who knows anymore.

It's mighty interesting to take note of THE TRACK that those particular baby boomers took.
Or, are you implying that ALL baby boomers took the same track?

True enough. It's not wise to generalize, but the boomer generation did seem to express a certain idealistic optimism concerning society in the 60's, that was largely replaced by self serving greed in the 80's, and only a superficial concern over the fate of the working class and lower class.

PS: I never could handle much in the way of weed, I was a lightweight.
I can't even mess with it now, not to speak of.

We're in the same boat. I could handle it pretty well in my early 20's, but 10 years later it seems to do me in after only a few drags. My dad is in his 50's, and a champion toker. I didn't inherit that gene.

Trump, Trump is working to disrupt those who are on a mission to take America there under very shoddy consent.

Trump doesn't want to make things perfect? I thought the US became a utopia once he won.

Clearly you have a listening problem.

You could look me up once you solve it.

Sometimes I almost wish I believed the propaganda, I'd have way less things to worry about.

Then you should be in favor of the democrats deep state being punished for its assault on candidate Trump and his presidency. If it is not punished, then you can expect a future administration to handicap a candidate from the other party by the use of his intelligence agencies.

It's definitely not wise to generalize because many in my generation did something very specific with regard to such so called "idealistic optimism concerning society in the 60's" when the going got a little rough.
They turned tail and dropped any and all allegiance to those values forever.

If your Dad is in his 50's, he's not even a member of that generation either.
I am, and I was there, I watched as maybe two thirds of the people I knew back then underwent an almost instantaneous turnabout around 1977 or so. And by 1980 the transformation was complete. The problem is, they never bothered researching what they were into back in the 60's, they just embraced it blindly, like camp followers. They embraced it for the rush, the heady giddy rush of it all, the feeling like they were "in the ****" and "making a happening".
But they never really looked into the ideological or ethical values that drove the movement.
And that's the way most movements of that nature are, and always have been down through history, it's human nature.
The rest of us, the handful that were abandoned by the thrill-seeking crowds, just quietly went back to work as we'd done before.

And in a few years, another generation will be telling you that they are cleaning up the mess your generation made.
And a ton of your fellow camp mates will deny ever having any association with it to begin with.
They will create the mess and leave it for someone else to clean up, so don't think for a moment that you're special, or that what you call "conservatism" is that special.

The special people in the conservative movement are either retiring now, or they got drummed out in 2010 and 2014, or they were loudly proclaimed as communist sympathizers by the Birchers in the 1960's. (see Dwight David Eisenhower)

History does not always repeat itself but sometimes it rhymes. (Mark Twain)

No, I've been reading your posts for a while. Throw out the borderline pornographic stuff, and they sound like it's a utopia out there now.

The trauma of the coming of Trump runs very deep, and will impact events going forwards.

You will benefit by opening your mind enough to see.

Oooh....opening my mind enough to see!!!!

Do you get your inspiration from Jack Chick cartoons?

Hyperbolic bilge.

What a moronic post.

Sure looks like you have no actual ability to discern fake from real. But, keep ranting, you are hilarious.

I am abreast. I'm proud to witness that they NO longer allow them to push people they disagree with around. They can take their race baiting cards, etc., and shove them where the sun don't shine.

Oddly, the idiots simply keep doubling down and will not admit that their PC pushiness, identity politics, virtue signaling, and basic garden variety smugness was one of the main reasons Trump won. He tapped in to their anger, gave them a voice, and as they say, the rest is history.

WE are civilized and embrace the rule of law. The Trump supporter chorus of "Lock her up," truly disturbing and cringeworthy telecast nationwide on live TV during the week long worship service
in Cleveland in July, 2016 were merely prelude to the pathetic spectacle of a sitting POTUS more recently making the same demand.

The mindless attacks against the entire government should incentivize the surviving civil service, FBI, and DOJ employees to work nights and weekends, on their own time if
they are understandably motivated, to identify and investigate any deplorable that comes to their attention. Evidence justified prosecutions would be the next appropriate step,
with those found guilty, among the poorly educated so revered by former POTUS Trump, in criminal trials, sentenced to exile in Puerto Rico commencing on the day after the next
major hurricane to strike that island, delivered by U.S. Marshalls to the most isolated fringes of that place, armed only with a case each of paper towel rolls. Additionally, minor children
of deplorables found guilty should be transfered to custody of Homeland Security for the duration of their parents' island exile.

I was browsing Twitter today, and came across this Tweet from Amy Siskind, which seems to suggest that Trump supporters will face imprisonment (reeducation camps? gulags?) in the future, as his presidency eventually peters out.

In itself, a random Tweet calling for the imprisonment of Americans is unremarkable, but then I did some research and found that Amy Siskind is frequently quoted as an 'expert' by some of the favorite news companies of American liberals:

Amy Siskind is president and cofounder of The New Agenda, a national organization. She is a frequent source for the national press, including the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.

https://books.google.com/books/about/The_List.html?id=scV7tgEACAAJ&hl=en

Amy Siskind may be summoning her inner Bolshevik, but I'm curious if anyone here would be so bold as to admit to agreeing with her?

I said No...but if you come up here, TAAC, I'll ensure the Mounties nab you (and only you) at the border, and throw you in the klink with a laxative-fed moose.

lol...I mean, Truth, you really took this nut seriously enough to start a thread about this? You gotta stop letting the fringe get in your head, man. ;)

God forbid that our next president is a Siskind, or we may face an American Great Purge that many warned about early 100 years ago.

Not even the majority of the left wants a Siskind. Be at peace, brother...be at peace.

Or, I found one woman who is daring to say what many on the left feel, and secretly wish for. But your appeal to ridicule was stupendous. Gold star for you, attaboy.

So You are trying to speak for the left now by telling us what they "secretly" wish, hmmmmm, never would have guessed that You would be qualified to pull that off, LOL.

Trump is the one who handicapped his opponent by the illegal use of Russian intelligence agencies and yes he needs to be punished.

"many on the left"...

I have not seen any, and from the poll I would say even the Left. Would oppose any that do.

How many opposed the Antifa violence and random assaults on Trump supporters nationwide? How many told Maxine Waters to shut up when she began calling for impeachment before Trump had even moved into the White House? How many criticized HRC for demanding numerous recounts in states she lost, in hopes of overturning the election, or the attempts by leftists to guilt electoral college voters into changing their votes for HRC?

I keep hearing that the left aren't in favor of stripping away rights, or using underhanded tactics in order to gain power, but that's not exactly proven true by current trends.

That really was not the question.
