What's the difference between Obama lies and Swampy lies?

Obama usually was way too naive and too optimistic when he over promised.
Swampy just overpromises and then claims he didn't.
Swampy basically mocks his supporters by telling them stupid stuff to believe and then they believe it. Obama rarely did this.

They both however did things and then claimed they didn't. Swampy just does it way more openly and obviously.

Oh I am aware of Obama's lies, but he makes it a daily routine. Then later denies making it. And his supporters suck it up.

The metric used varies, ranging from the simply "misleading" to all-out lies. The Washington Post clocks it at 3000 because they include falsehoods, misleading statements and the repetition of those falsehoods and misleading statements. The New York Times employs an infinitely stricter method by only including statements known to be completely false, and does not include repetition of those false statements, and therefore only clocks it at 103 lies ten months into his Presidency.

But regardless of the metric used, his dishonesty outweighs anybody else's by many, many magnitudes.

The job is easier if you're a partisan Republican because your brain only needs to store a couple good ones if your goal is to paint Obama as dishonest, whereas the human brain is simply unable to adequately retain and present all the falsehoods that paint the full picture of trump's dishonestly.

I don't get it. Why is this a poll? You don't take a poll to determine the truth. Donald Trump lies a lot. That is an objective fact.

That is precisely the difference and incredibly important different. Obama misspoke sometimes, and couldn't always do the things he wanted to do. When you're the president you're asked to give a public speech or statement like 5 times per day. It is inevitable that at least a few errors are going to slip in there no matter how badly you try. But Donald Trump blatantly and intentionally distorts the truth in an intentional attempt to manipulate reality. He blatantly lies, and then blatantly lies about his lies claiming he just never said them. Trump has a reckless disregard for the truth.

PolitiFact | Comparing Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump on the Truth-O-Meter

Hillary Clinton may have fudged a few things here and there or accidentally gotten her numbers mixed up from time to time, but the vast majority of the things she said during the campaign were rooted in the truth. This indicates she tried to be as honest as possible while accidentally getting this wrong once in awhile.

Trump not only lied but in fact, that majority of the things that he said were in fact lies. Donald Trump tells the truth so little, that you could argue that every word that comes out of his mouth is intended to be false, but because he makes so many statements it's inevitable that a few of them will be inadvertently true. He is the living breathing version of a broken clock that is right twice a day. But just like the broken clock, he doesn't actually know he's right even when he happens to be.

With a poll we see where people stand. That is if the Trump supporters decide to participate.

In other words, both parties are the same. /s

You will have to wait until one of them calls into Mark Levin's show so they know how to rationalize this and respond.

So, to be clear, you're asking if we think Trump lies alot?

Assuming that is correct, I must answer 'Yes.'

However, I must add the caveat that I'm unsure whether Trump himself believes everything he says at the time he says it, which would mean he is never lying, but simply saying things that are false/wrong.
