Better work than I often see around here. I like how they painted just the front of that building. Why waste good paint?
 
They've also shot all the stray dogs. Putin's Potemkin village. Sochi was the same. Once you ventured beyond the Olympic Village, it struck you just how poor and dilapidated Russia really is.

Normally I would be devastated with the fact that my country did not qualify for the world cup in 2018, at least that is what I would feel but not this year. Because this year it is happening in Russia and I am definitely really really really happy that our team and our fans do not have to visit Russia.

The shooting down of Malaysia MH17 is still not forgotten and most certainly still on our minds as a country.

No, not really. I don't post pictures here but there are some really funny construction mistakes in my area. Most of them are DIY projects that just went way wrong. Some crazy looking fences. Apparently it takes more than rudimentary math skills and a case of beer to construct a good fence.
