Political truth...now there's an oxymoron. We will never get "truth", we will get spin. One side will pick their set of facts and maximize their importance, while the other side will cherry pick their facts and minimize the other sides facts. Opinions posing as facts will permeate the process. And ALL of it will be played out in the court of public opinion. Like real court cases, it isn't about truth; it's about how it can be made to look.
If we really wanted "truth" we would also be investigating US involvement in Russian elections (we spent $5 billion+ to get Boris Yeltsin elected) and other elections around the world we have interfered with. I think the last count was 184 over the past 40 years. What a bunch of hypocrites we are. No wonder the rest of the world looks at us the way they do. We get enraged that another country would DARE to meddle in our business but we have no such outrage when we do it to others. My God, when you think about it, we've gone way past meddling; we've assassinated foreign leaders, and all through the Obama administration, and continuing into the Trump years, we regularly violate the airspace of other nations to conduct drone attacks despite the substantial "collateral damage"; code for killing innocent people. Where's our outrage?
There is no truth, Russia is the victim and America is at fault. This is textbook Russian propaganda.
